Nice hunt! Out of curiosity, what's with the roached pinpointer tip? Do you prefer not to use tip protectors? Not judging you, just find it interesting it is that worn down that much.

Why everything you dig is close to surface? In Erie,Pa USA, all my targets are 3-6 inches down. Just a thought

Its partly that the ground is frozen most of the winter and dry as a bone all summer, and most deeper targets have all been dug, but our parks are so busy that we get lots of fresh drops. Cheers.
