Lee Da-yeong (Korean: 이다영; born 15 October 1996) is a South Korean female volleyball player who previously played as a setter for the South Korea women's national volleyball team. She is the twin sister of Lee Jae-yeong, who was also a member of the South Korea national Volleyball team.

This was truly the prime of Korea national team with both Jaeyeong & Dayeong on the team An Asian team defeating Brazil 3-1, who could've imagined Japan who were once rivals with Korea could never win against this lineup, and Thailand of course did not even stand a chance This team even defeated China before too, and went 2-3 against Russia in the Olympic qualifiers (unfortunately not televised) Now Korea has unfortunately dropped all the way to #38 without them

Da-yeong and Jae-yooung have both been accused of severe bullying both in pro-play and in highschool. One of their teammate even commited suicide because of the bullying. They have been banned by their club team in South Korea. I know they might be good players, but this is unacceptable behaviour as a public figure.

Dayeong was also accused of domestic violence against her ex-husband. They were married for 4 months only, her husband was repeatedly insulted and beaten to the point that he's been diagnosed with severe depression

거짓말 하지 맙시다. 당신이 말한 극단적인 선택으로 죽음에 이른 사람 없습니다. 이다영 선수가 중학생때 동료에게 했던 행동에 대해서는 그 당시에도 무릎 꿇고 사과하고 넘어갔던 일입니다. 그리고 그 일이 터진 후에도 그 일에 대해서는 사과를 꾸준히 했고요. 재영 선수는 자기로 인해 상처 받은 일이 있다면 사과를 드리지만 자신의 기억과 거리가 있는 부분에 대해서는 인정 할 수 없다며 이야기 하고 있고요. 물론 두 선수 다 국내리그에서 뛰지 못하는 징계를 받았고 지금도 받고 있죠. . 국가대표에서도 당연히 내려왔고요. 그 일들은 중학생때 있던 일입니다. 그 일로 전학까지 갔었습니다. 당신이 주장하는 극단적인 선택을 했던 일은 오히려 지금도 한국 리그에서 뛰고 있는 우상시되는 그 선수로 부터 괴롭힘을 당해 이다영 선수가 극단적인 선택을 했다가 간신히 깨어났다는 폭로가 인터뷰로 기사에 실렸었죠. 하지만 그 기사는 당일에 사라졌고 그 기사를 쓴 기자분은 그 언론사에서 쫒겨난건지 사표를 쓴 건지 정확히 알 수 없지만 그 언론사에서는 사라졌죠. 그 일에 대해서 몇몇 언론사들이 지목된 선수에게 질문을 하였지만 때가 되면 말하겠다는 기사들을 본적은 있지만 그뒤로 아직도 그에 대한 답은 안하죠? 심지어 이제는 기자들이 질문도 안하죠. 그 선수는? 지금도 뛰고 있죠? 비판 받을 일 있으면 비판 받아야 됩니다. 하지만 분명히 징계를 받았고 지금도 받고 있어서 당신 말처럼 국내 리그 에서는 못 뛰고 있습니다. 거짓까지 섞어서 비판을 하기 전에 아직 징계든 뭐든 어떠한 변명도 안 하고 있는 그 선수에게 관심 좀 가져보시길 바랍니다. 정의로운 척 하지 마시고요.

Don't spread false information 1. none of their teammates committed suicide cause of them. the player who committed suicide was a member of Hillstate and was in fact a close friend of Dayeong's whom she remembers till this day. She committed suicide because of the team releasing her from the team and hate comments directed at her online 2. they were accused of bullying in school but their middle school teacher held an interview saying that nothing of the sort happened zero investigations took place and there is nothing proving that that was true 3. they are not banned by clubs nor national team, no investigation was done to prove that to be true, and clubs are only wary of signing them due to the public backlash

They are school violence perpetrators. They threatened and harassed the victim with a knife. This kind of video is unacceptable. It should not be shared or tolerated in any way. Violence is never justifiable, and spreading such content only contributes to further harm. Perpetrators must be held accountable for their actions, and victims should be protected and supported.
