Hi everyone! Maru san asked me to shoot a "Behind the scenes" type of video that shows what equipment I use and the procedure I go through to make this type of video. If enough people want to see it, I will make one! Please comment! まるさんがこのタイプの動画を作るのに私がどんな照明とか機材を使ってるかなどの紹介動画を作ることのリクエストをしてくれました。あなたも興味ありますか?コメントお願いします!!😃😃😃😃😃😃

Every so often, I get a new Satorl Marsh (Night) cover in my KZbin recommendations. Today was a very bad day for me, and really needed this level of peace today. Thank you so much.

I'm sorry you had a bad day... I'm glad this video gave you peace 😃🥰 I did my part, but the original composition from Xenoblade deserves credit. It's some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. 😍😍😍

Thank you,@@MikiShinobue. Today was better! Edit: ところで、そのコメントを書く後で、僕の英語の級ちょっと心配しています!今日本に住んで働くて、多分その小説ぽい語は酷すぎかもしりません。失礼しました! On the composition, it goes without saying that Monolith Soft, the makers of this game, deserve the credit for the original composition. This is hands down my favorite song from the game. That studio is a treasure trove of beautiful gems like this that reinforce the narrative through stunning musical pieces. I'll give a few of my favorites I think you might like. Do not take these as request, just music for your listening pleasure that you might enjoy from the composers for these games in case you haven't heard them. Xenoblade Chronicles 1: Agniratha, Mechonis Capital. This song comes once the game's twist occurs, reframing the conflict entirely. Daylight casts it in a lonely, forgotten world where the night cries in a minor key of the tragedy that befell it. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Leftherian Archipelago. It is a beautiful piece where the flute flutters freely through the day and rests its wings at night. I think you'll particularly like them given your instrument of choice. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: The Abandoned City is both sadness and loss woven in a piece heightened by transposing what the characters in the world know with what the player knows innately. It mourns the promise of a sanctuary to a civilization long dead and forgotten.

YESSSS THANK YOU! I remember the first time playing XC: Definitive Edition since I hurt myself and had to rest up, and I remember going to Satorl Marsh; it was daytime and then turned night, my jaw ABSOLUTELY DROPPED of the music and the over-world I cried listening to it. I’m also crying to this! It’s beautiful! I hope you do Kingdom of Uraya!

There are times I return to the game just to spend time standing in the marsh at night, watching the ether suddenly bring the world to life and dancing in the branches of the trees, I'm very glad to see I'm not the only one who has this reaction to that biome! And even more happy that we are all here to enjoy Miki Sensei's incredible rendition for us to relive that experience!

Wow!! You played this beautifully Miki! I was so surprised to see this cover, since I didn't even know shinobue could be used to play songs like these. You played this cover so well that it sounds official and could be used in-game! I can almost see the trees lightning up at night in Satorl Marsh while listening to this~~ Thank you for making this cover!! Would you also be able to make sheets for this? I would love to try to learn it once I get better at shinobue. Also I'd be interested in a "behind the scenes" video! I'm interested how many shinobue are used to make this. It almost sounds like multiple sometimes because it sounds so diverse. If you'd like, you could also check out "Alfeto Valley (Day)" from Xenoblade 3! There's some flute in that song and it may make for a good song to cover! I would personally love to hear you play that :)

Hi Wilson! Thank you so much for your kind words!! I wish my music could be in a video game LOL!!! I'm starting a Patreon soon and planning to release the sheet music for this piece there. But I will continue to upload free sheet music here too! This piece was only done with my 6 hon choshi. It is very difficult because it comes from very low then goes to very high, including dai kan on. I like Alfeto Valley (Day) too, and maybe I might cover it one day! There are so many songs I am already working on to cover but there is so little time because it takes so long to create a video and I have to have at least one video ready every week... 🫢

@@MikiShinobue Now that I feel like I have gotten ryo on notes down, and am starting to get pretty consistent kan on notes, I feel ready to start learning intermediate songs. Or at least portions of them. Do you think this one is too imposing for someone with less than a month of experience?
@MikiShinobue11 ай бұрын
@@toothless7849 Well, you have experience with the Western flute, so maybe you are ready?? (I generally do not recommend this piece to beginners because playing beyond one's ability is a good way to develop bad habits that are going to take years of re-learning later. Miki, do you play video games? Believe it or not, thoughI have played all 3 Xenoblade games, I actually discovered your channel through unrelated means. I had no idea the “flutes” in X3 where shinobue until I saw your videos! The reason I ask if you play video games is because of one game only. If you have never heard of the game Journey, I highly recommend you look into both it and its BEAUTIFUL orchestrated soundtrack! Not many games have ever made me shed a tear. But in the whole 1.5 hour experience that is Journey, it has made me shed several. It is such a moving experience!

@@MikiShinobueYes! It’s absolutely great! My absolute favorite from the OST is “Final Confluence”.
