I love this.. I've struggled with self harm and this just really puts it into perspective for me. I've been ashamed of my scars and felt that as a Christian, I failed. Because I have those scars all over my body. So I absolutely love this. That He makes me beautiful even in my mess. Even with the thousands of scars.

Francesann (I love your name and your blue hair!!) You have not failed at all. We do things as a result of this life, but you are growing in Christ and are so beautiful to Him that He died for you. I tell my husband that everyday. He also has scars from self-harm. He hasn't done that in years (we've been together 30 years!), because he now knows what you have discovered. God throws a "come as you are party" - warts and all. Remember that He loves you!!

Many blessings Lynda! I have a problem with being a little sociably awkward in public and get claustrophobic really easily. I have difficulty getting my point across and often find it easier to put my thoughts into a story rather than speak it. It used to really bother me, but reading the Bible, praying, and listening to this song has really helped me a lot in seeing that being different isn't always a terrible thing. :)

It especially helped me while I was in the Phsyciatric hospital for depression I was allowed to keep my phone so I listened to her music a lot and it helped me cope I still listen to her music a lot.
