Family, I love the respect that your adult children shows both of you. I love that y'all are instilling respect and value into Jackson which lead to character. My skin crawls when I hear parents say there kids are they friends. As parents no matter how old they're we should always have boundaries. Once you allow them to cross those boundaries it's hard to get that respect factor back. I can't wait to see the finished product.

As far as I am concerned, old school provided a great foundation for many of us and we are charged to pass most of those things along to our children and grandchildren. We can’t expect the culture to teach morals and values. I love the color in the room. You two are doing an amazing job!

Ms. Donna I love the color you chose for your wardrobe room. It is in my future plans to paint some of the rooms in my house. I like the Behr paint. Some of the colors will stay the same but just get a fresh coat of paint. Some of my colors will change. I’m inspired to get things done. My PCT (patient care technician) helped get my towel closet cleaned out. I bought new towels and even that made me feel good. Going through clothes next. That’s going to take a while. But I’m determined. Lord HELP!!! I’m going to praise my way through!! lol until next time, peace and love ❤️❤️

🗣Stuff is making too much noise for me... Chil'e, if that ain't a whole word!!🎯 I felt that in my spirit. Cause the way I've been getting rid of stuff, donating stuff to my local Thrift store and repurposing stuff over this past year has allowed for a clearer space and mind. I thought it was just me aging, but honey...comfort, clarity and peace is my main focus these days. And kuddos to you making yourself a priority and not focusing so hard on making space for your adult children. It's hard making yourself a priority and just doing/thinking about yourself when you've lived your life making sure everyone else was good first and foremost.

I’m loving the room! Fine work, as always. As a formerly physically abused child (to the point of bruises, bleeding, stitches, hands held over open flames and being physically thrown down flights of stairs), and now a social worker, I am not old school discipline. I teach families how to communicate so that old school discipline is not necessary. Hurting people hurt people. I work for a Christian agency that teaches parents how to communicate in a way their children respect and obey.

You are to be congratulated. Where was Dude #2 when you needed him ☺️? I admire your painting skills, particularly the furniture. I'd have paint everywhere. On another note. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been known to overload closet racks. I was downstairs one day and heard this strange noise. I came upstairs and looked around and couldn't figure out what had happened until I finally opened the door of one of my walk-in closets and discovered that I could no longer walk in. I was so disgusted that I just closed the door and headed to Lowe's to buy new hardware. The room looks good so far. Carry on Team Minor. 😊👏🏽
