A lot of people get annoyed with audiences that clap in the middle of a musical number. Because when you are on stage performing you expect to hear the audience clap... but when they clap in the middle of a song it just gets you so excited and you do 10x better :D at least for me and PJ!
@luccamalualves82619 жыл бұрын
TheAdventureGirlz No, this is annoying and distracts the actors

I feel this way too when im acting

I agree! When performing, the audiences' claps make me feel a whole lot more confident and motivated playing my part :)

As a musical actor I prefer clapping after the number - many musicals have numbers that have tempo changes and as a result of those the audience usually starts clapping off tempo which can cause the dancers lose tempo as well

Who is the guy who did lumiere? He is awesome at voice acting, made me laugh my head off, and blew me away. Please tell me who he is so I can STOP FREAKING OUT!!!!!!
@TKAWPB9 жыл бұрын
kittyofpink Thanks for your question. The part of Lumiere was played by TKA grad Connor Saccal, who is now studying theater performance at Syracuse University.

And by the way, how is this a high school? It looks more like a college by the look of the stage.

Great job, but come on audience -- clapping along? Seriously? If the music conductor prompted you to do it, okay. Otherwise, no!
@brahma.57626 жыл бұрын
I agree to disagree. Fuck social conventions! Clap if you're enjoying it! Besides, as a performer it would encourage me to do 10x better.
@coastertron6 жыл бұрын
bus114 As an musical actor I do like when the audience enjoys the music so much that they start clapping, but sometimes the clapping can be so off tempo that the whole scene may end up going haywire. I'd say I appreciate clapping more if it happens after the number - I'm sure the audience will enjoy the scene more too if there's no clapping happening as a distraction.
