My story is similar except it was my brand new husband who coerced me into the abortion. He said it wasn’t a good time for his career. I wanted to have the baby. He was then a medical student and told me it wasn’t really a baby; it was a frog, a chicken, a duck, a clump of cells. Both sets of parents begged us not to. I dragged it out because I didn’t want to but in the end he prevailed. I was 11 wks when it was done, and I know now there was a heartbeat and I can still remember the whole procedure. That was in 1980 and I was 20. We are separated and have been for 2+ yrs, and he still doesn’t really understand. I hope I can help someone else also. It’s amazing to know that God can forgive even this. Love to all
