I really recommend using the "Think Dirty" app because you seem to be very aware of what you put on your body especially since you are pregnant, and this app gives toxicity scores and explanations about the ingredients in all sorts of beauty, bath, and body products. Thought I would share!

The whole foods near me in San Jose has an entire separate store for beauty and body items and there's even a mini spa where you can get manis and pedis. It's called Whole Body. I almost fainted when I saw the extensive make up counter! I found the Pacifica mascara to be good, but the tube dried out faster than my drugstore ones.

You may like the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue tinted hydrating gel cream. It's lighter on the coverage side and very comfortable on the skin.

Ulta sends out the coupons to members. The Clarisonic brush heads were actually only 10 percent off because they are a prestige item. They get you because they put that in smaller print and you have to look online to see what brands are prestige brands.

Hannah Mann I haven't really been painting my nails much at all this year, not for any particular reason, really. Just kind of got out of the habit. Most major brands now don't have the major chemical ingredients that they recommend avoiding during pregnancy, but I know there are a few brands, including Mineral Fusion and Pacifica that use less harsh chemicals.

I love the Mineral Fusion Lip Tints. I suggest checking out Honeybee Gardens (they even have a beauty box now), 100% Pure, and Everyday Minerals, they are some of my favorite natural brands.

I was about to tell you about the think dirty app and saw someone already recommended it! I don't know if you heard about it but it really changed my life. I think it would be perfect for you especially when it's time to buy products for the baby. Some companies market themselves as safe and natural but that is not always the case. Everyone has their own standards of what their comfortable on using and this app is just amazing for everyone. It does all the work for you. So you don't have to sit there and analyze all the ingredients. : ) I hope you check it out.

I agree about being careful. My dr told me to avoid lake fish and I avoided all fish. I'm not crazy about it anyway but I just thought it was best to be careful.

I have the Pacifica Island Vanilla roller ball perfume, and I am IN LOVE with it. It'll be surprising to me if I ever switch scents again, it's so amazing.

Love how much more aware you are about ingredients and even if ppl are not pregnant why would we want to have lead etc on and in us? At least not if we can help it. Love watching what you buy now. I will look more into natural make up, too. Love pur jojoba oil as night moisturizer.

You may want to try out the Kat Von D tattoo liner. I use to use the Stila Stay All Day all the time, but after trying the Kat Von D liner (which I received as a sample), I will never go back. It's more precise and easier to apply, stays put all day and doesn't "cake" during application like some liners can. Just my opinion.

I'm excited to try the Lorac Unzipped palette soon. I've never splurged on an eyeshadow palette but I tried this one out at Kohls and was pleased with the pigmentation! Also, some of my friends have recommended the Tarte BB cream to me but from the reviews I've read online, it really dries out your skin. Oh well. Anyway, I love when you do your beauty haul videos. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jen have you tired the Bareminerals Complexion rescue tinted moisturizer? I would highly recommend it if you want a light to medium coverage. it feels totally weightless on the skin. i love it. I tired the Bareminerals Bareskin foundation aswell and i don't know what it is about it, I found the same that it clings to dry patches on the face and doesn't sit right after a few hours. But the moisturizer i love although i dont know what chemicals are in it. Love your videos Rosie xx

Hi Jenn! I too love my clarisonic BUT I have to inform you that this form of exfoliation does cause microtears on the skin. These are tears so small you cannot see them with the naked eye. Although the company does say it is okay to use this everyday, I would advise skipping a day or few between uses; and on the off days to supplement with a very mild chemical exfoliation. This could be lead to more breakouts since external bacteria now have an easy access entrance thru these microtears. I recently learned about various types of physical exfoliation in esthetics school and thought I would share some insight. Hope your enjoy your goodies!!!!

***** Being that you are pregnant it might be difficult to find a chemical exfoliant that is safe and has no iffy ingrediants. So I want to recommend a physical exfoliant that is very gentle but super effective. The brand is Circadia and the product is called the Micro-Exfolianting Honey Cleanser. As it implys, this product is a dual product that uses organic bees wax as the exfoliating granule. Honey is awesome because it absorbs oil without stripping the skin and when mixed with water granules begin to dissolve so it is very gentle. The other thing that's great about going natural is that almost all of the brands are cruelty free which is so important since our bunnies are so precious and we can have just as amazing products that do not need to be tested on animals. That Tropical Mango scrub is my new all time fave scrub! It smells so good & is a 'natural' brand. I use it as a foot scrub too as it works better on my feet than actual 'foot scrubs' do. I'm surprised there was an ingredient that you didn't like in the Tarte foundation as Tarte is one of the more popular natural brands. I need to go to your Ulta. I never get samples like that at my Ulta! :)

Beautiful lip colors. I have found for my fragrance Philosophy Pure Grace. I receive so many compliments when I wear this. It last all day even when I work, it works well for me. I do not smell it after I spray it on myself. I've been told that is a good fragrance for my chemistry. I buy this from QVC. Ulta does carry it, although I live too far from a store myself. Cosmetic ingredients have played a key role in my shopping since I have had health issues, so while I have no idea how my requirements might sync with pregnancy related concerns, I will share the following- Cover FX has a great range of foundation related products and is ingredient friendly for me. Of particular interest may be their "drops" which you can add to any moisturizer that you like to make whatever coverage you desire based on how many drops you add- they also have many ready made foundations and concealers. Company was started by former MAC founders. Their website has excellent information on their ingredients. Dior has done more with better ingredients and oddly they don't seem to do much to advertise this- it would be worth checking their recent ingredient information online if there is something you like for possibilities. I knew that they were 5 free on nail polish and an employee at Nordstrom told me I was not correct- so we looked at the boxes and sure enough they are 5 free- turns out she was basing her statement on what she knew from 3 years ago......so always good to check for yourself.... As to nailpolish related products, if you are wearing them at all.... I was doing great at only using 5 free polishes and then realized I needed to check my base and topper......which I found out were nothing free.....I was really asleep at the switch on that one. Thanks for sharing your haul- great tips on the Pacifica line- need to check them out! Based on your recommendation, I have tried the scrubs and love them!
