Beauty Investments... YAY or NAY?! | Kryz Uy

Jack and I got a great free time while we were in Singapore. As we're chilling during our downtime, we started trading a few personal beauty and grooming experience.
Going over our self-care chat, we realized how lucky we are that we can naturally share things like this. Other than Jack, I also have my other older sister Dianne, and my very kikay Mommy Irene to tell me what to do or not to do.
For some, they only have the TV or the internet content to rely on and there wasn't as much discussion on beauty investment as we would have liked.
So, while going back and forth on what are our best beauty decisions so far, we decided to list a few notable choices and give you this special sister edition - Beauty Investments... Yay or Nay.

Agreed on the underarm laser treatment. Just avoid the hassle and time in plucking and waxing and your armpit will thank you for it. Im still at my 3rd sesh with Beauty and Beyond so fingers crossed!

Omg i can so relate with the rebonding thing 😢 I did it since sixth grade up until college, and my hair got really thin and brittle. And it's so true, the cycle of rebonding, not being able to wash it for a few days and smelling so much of the medicine they put, and having to suffer that multi textured hair when one half is straight and half is curly, everything is so taxing eventually. So I stopped doing it mid college, and decided to research on how to take care of my God-given hair properly. It's really high maintenance to alaga it din pero it makes me feel better to know na I'm learning to appreciate what I have rather than trying to conform to what people think is attractive but is really damaging my hair. It takes a lot of effort and self love to actually break away from what people think is "pretty" and choosing what is good and healthy for you. Reallt had to learn what products to use, what chemicals to look out for when buying, what comb to use, how to dry my hair 😅 Good beauty investment: Find out what your hair type is, research how to care for it, and just do it. Look out for yourself and your body by choosing what is healthy for you. ❤

Super relate ako sa hair issue 🤣 since grade 6 nagpapastraight na ako ng hair from relax to rebond naexperience ko na. Every year! So 2 years ago (30y.o na ako) when i started freediving at lagi ako nasa dagat. I decided to stop hair rebondind and cut my hair na straight na part and hayaan ng tumubo ang curly hair. So now i am using hair lotion for curly hair. Ang daming nagagandahan sa hair ko😄😄

@@renbackup5390 Hello. Yes, you're correct. IPL is not a laser. I'm not sure what kind of laser they were talking about.. But if you're interested, Alexandrite and ND-Yag laser is the one I use and it's very effective. ❤️

Late reaction but I love how insightful this video is. Although, I have a different view on getting a relax/rebond. I too had a VERY unruly curly hair - super buhaghag and makapal. When I had my first rebond, I was ecstatic with the results kasi it looked natural. Mas nag-mukha akong tao than a poodle LOL. I think the treatment eventually helped my hair become more tamed when the “original” hair grew. I guess it depends on the hair pre-treatment, the treatment they use, your patience to manage your hair, and of course your overall preference. 😅 Anyway, thank you for this! 💕

uhm kinda weird but i love how almost all of ate jack's past problems are also the same as mine haha. from the dry/frizzy/bushy kind of hair and the oily type of skin. somehow my hair already tamed(?) itself but there are still those days where I already did my best to style it but it still looks bad? HAHA! I also had that phase in high school where i had these pimples all over my forehead + my facial skin was so oily, and that was the time when I really didn't know what to do AND I actually didn't do anything about the situation I was in. But now, all my friends keep asking about how my skin is so glowy, so smooth, why don't I have pimples, stuff like that. And the truth is, I just really took the time to research about my skin type and products that are good/helpful. I guess it also helped that I got my mom's genes bc she still looks young and her skin is still supple(???) lol. Anw, nobela na pala ginawa ko haha that's all, everyone is different = everyone has different solutions to each of their problems. Yall will figure it out and dont rush things
