A Word about Vizag
Visakhapatnam formerly known as Vizagapatam(also known as Vizag, Visakha or Waltair) It is between the Eastern Ghats and the coast of the Bay of Bengal. It is the second-largest city on the east coast of India after Chennai, and the fourth-largest in South India. Vizag is 9th Cleanest city in India.it is Cleanest under Top 10 for 3rd time in a Row. Vizag also known as City of Destiny. Vizag is famous/popular for beaches and Mesmerizing beaches and hills.
Vizag , a city with beautiful beaches on one side and Hills on another side. If you visit Vizag then definitely becomes one of your favorite.
How to reach Vizag and How to explore Vizag
The city can be explored by preferring city buses and auto rickshaws, followed by two-wheelers and cars. Road and rail are preferred for long-distance commuting and are supported by Dwaraka bus station and Visakhapatnam railway station respectively. It also has sea and air travel infrastructure such as, Visakhapatnam Port and Visakhapatnam Airport.
By Bus
The APSRTC operates city, district and inter-state bus services from Dwaraka bus station.
TSRTC and Other Private travelers runs buses from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and other major parts of India
By Rail
Visakhapatnam is the headquarters of South Coast Railway zone of Indian railways. Visakhapatnam railway station is as an A1 station and Cleanest railway station. Visakhapatnam Metro is a planned metro rail project.
Major Cities from India has direct rail connections to Vizag.
By Air
Visakhapatnam Airport (IATA: VTZ, ICAO: VOVZ) is an international airport in Visakhapatnam, India. It has direct flights from India and many transit flights from other parts of the world.

On reaching Vizag Railway station or Bus Stand cover the following places in Vizag on Day 1
Start your day by watching beautiful sunset at RK beach and come to your room, take bath and have breakfast and start explore the Beautiful City.
1.Simhachalam.City buses are available from Railway Station and Bus Station, if one don't get the direct bus reach till bottom of the hill then catch another bus from there. It takes around 3 hrs to explore this places from & to Railway station/bus station.
2. One taking the blessing from Sri Varahalakshmi Narasimha Swamy I took bus to Bhimili Beach as there are no direct buses availabe from Simhachalam either to Kailasagiri or Rishikonda Beach or Bhimili. So I reached Dwaraka Bus Stand and from there I reached Bhemili beach
After that I Visited Kailasagiri, buses are available till Top of the hill for every 15 minutes buses are available till 6PM from morning 6AM and see the landscape of vizag
Catch Bheemili bus and explore this places.
Rushikonda beach, Natural Arch, Erra Matti Dibbalu,Bhemili Beach. All these places are located on same stretch. After seeing the bheemili beach vizag, catch a bus to RK beach and Visit the INS Kursura Submarine Museum, Air Craft museum and Matsya Darshini.(prefer visiting museums at Night only.
INS Kursura Submarine Museum timings are 2.30PM to 9.30PM
Aircraft Museum timings are 2.30PM to 9.30PM
Matysa Darshini timings are 10.30AM to 9.30PM
