Case is singing background vocals not lead. I got this from Wikipedia: During the "Wild Wild West" video shoot in April 1999, Woody quit the group, feeling a need to return to his gospel music roots. At first, Island decided to keep Dru Hill a trio, and shot a video for a hip-hop-styled remix of Enter the Dru's "You are Everything" with only Sisqó, Jazz, and Nokio, who performs a rap with Def Jam artist Ja Rule. Def Jam artist Case was subsequently enlisted to sing backgrounds on a remix of "Beauty" from Enter the Dru, whose video was shot but not released.

I love this song but had never heard this version until Thursday, August, 21, 2019, on the radio. You can just imagine my confusion and excitement... Ain't that some ish?!?!?! I've been listening every since. I love it and you say there's a longer version. I have to find it.

Here's the thing back when I first heard this on a promotional release back in 2002 it literally took my breath away. So I began to look and hunt. I went as far as calling the record label in New York (being a club dj at the time I had a lil clout). At any rate I was told that they were working on releasing it but "COULD NOT" get clearance from Dru Hills people because of how the record had been promoted as Case being the lead singer on black radio. Hell black radio was not informed that he wasn't lead on this. At any rate the song was never released on any format which is a damned shame because in my opinion it would've been a smash due to its rotational airplay on black radio across the country and Europe. In my life as a dj I have never heard this much hipe and longing of a song not to be released. The backlash of this one song sorta tanked the career of Dru Hill in the black community. I'll be the first to admit that I love our folk with all that's in me but in alot of cases we f**k ourselves over out of arrogance and unnecessary greed. Since some of us get a seat at the table we don't want our own people to sit at that table or even eat!!!!! Out
