Children of all ages dream of turning their birthday party into a magical event by having a doll cake, where a Barbie or sometimes a gender non conforming G.I. Joe doll is trapped in an oversized dress made up of layers of cake and frosting.
Today, we’re taking the controversial looking Belle doll - based on the lovely Emma Watson in the new live action film, Beauty and the Beast and sticking her right in the middle of a golden dulce de leche caramel frosted cake! It’s a simple cake with a butter face.
Joining us is Jaymes Mansfield, a sweet drag queen from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, best known for her KZbin series Drag HerStory Series and for her appearance on RuPaul's’ Drag Race Season 9.

This honestly made me cry, because Jayme/James is a lovely person, and she/he doesn't deserve the hate that people are throwing her way. I started becoming a fan before Jaymes got on the show, and was so sad because she got a bad edit, but this made me love her even more. This cake looked lovely and I hope that I'll make it soon!

Yes! On this other comment thread they complain about things being too sexual here, when they just don't get the reference. For example, people take things like "pearl necklace" out of context, while it's actually referring to Matthew 7:6 and "pearls before swine". This is a very holy show!

I like Jaymes but I feel that she's at her best when she's alone in front of the camera that's why her web series are good, but when she interacts with other people she looks uncomfortable and her personality doesn't shine through.

I wanted one of these doll cakes for my birthday as a kid so bad and I felt so betrayed when I finally got one because it wasn't even a whole doll. it was literally just like the top half of the doll. No legs. 😂

+Kiley Flynn yeah! They do sell those half dolls at arts and craft stores, but it's much more fun to make a full size doll into a cake. Afterwards, you can keep the doll and play with it and remember how much fun you had at the party.

They don't have any insider knowledge, I think they asked her on now because she just returned to the competition.

MiguiMonkey they ask ALL the queens to come on the show.. there's queens they've had that aren't even on drag race - plus, the show was filmed months ago. Hopefully there will be an influx of the new gurls that I haven't known about, though. Admittedly, I only found Jaymes through drag race and only followed Nina beforehand; I'm always happy to find new queens! There's a few new ones that have really surprised me!! I've heard them say that if you want any specific queen to come on, then they need badgered enough from fans to fit it into their schedules.

Most people just use butter and powdered sugar and a little bit of vanilla for Buttercream Frosting. They do use shortening in the storebought stuff tho.
