I'll also be sharing my perspectives and preferences on the trends I'm eager to adopt and those I hope to see more of in the future.

And of course, you’re correct. -Young women need to embrace aging, nothing wrong with Botox either; but let’s be real this trend is from the past decade *COUGH* (the Kardashian’s)….I feel bad for your generation. Young women need to grow into their faces & know you’re perfect at 14,17,21, & 30!!! Love you all, plz stop touching your faces. @@ellerchui feel like the 90s smokey eye is currently in, but as for fun pops of color, maybe they’ll come back in a year or so and be 60s or 80s makeup inspired 👀

I’m not against Botox , fillers , etc, if it makes that person feel better about themselves 👍👏!! What I find to be the negative drawback to it for me personally is, that I’m 58 , and have never done it, so it’s hard for me to get an accurate result of the way base makeup products , namely concealers will perform w/someone who HAS fine lines and wrinkles 🤷‍♀️🤔. And I’ve got 3 sisters ( 60,62 & 66 ) who ALL have had major cosmetic procedures, including lip tattooing , so again, I believe in doing what makes a person feel good 😊. BUT I’ve yet to come across more than 2 beauty content creators in my age demographic who hasn’t had it 💁‍♀️. NO HATE , just wish there were more who didn’t for makeup performance 😁❣️!!

💯% agree with you on this! I feel the same way when it comes to skincare procedures. It always helps to see someone wear makeup who has the same conditions. But I totally understand the other side, and who knows I might realize that’s the best decision for me in the future too. ♥️ And thanks so much for leaving a thoughtful comment. I love reading them!

I’m 58 years old and have pretty good skin. I don’t have any wrinkles to speak of. I’ve watched several KZbin shows from plastic surgeons and while they interest me, there is not one single thing that they offer that I want. Not one. I don’t want Botox or fillers or eye bag surgery or face lifts or any of it. I don’t want any of it.

I'm pretty oblivious to trends. I don't know, maybe it's my age (I'm old). As far as botox/fillers, nah..they're not for me. My son does the botox thing and more power to him. I've always been fairly minimal with my makeup, but that's just me. I love bold, bright eyeshadows. I never do them, but I just think they're gorgeous.

I’m actually rlly surprised that people are hating on minimal makeup! My daily look is to fill in the sparse parts of my brows, lip stain, concealer, powder, and maybe blush. This is because I just can’t stand the feeling of foundation, and I want to enhance my features, but not look like I’m wearing a full face of makeup! I want to add color to my super pale lips, enhance my brows (because they make a huge difference!), and minimalize the look of my acne, while still looking natural, and not putting effort into a full-face. To each their own, but does anyone else feel the same as me?

I feel like ppl keep trying to cancel pink blush yet it's selling out everywhere. Medium olive and pink blush changed my life. But ppl should wear what suits their preferences! I like pink powder, laminated brows and glitter toppers (alone). Trends are fun. I don't get pressed when they don't work for me. But I do about the cosmetic procedures lol!

Honestly I still wear colorful eyeshadow or liner occasionally its just not like 2016. Its more like one or two shade max blended out like a light blue or pink with winged liner or topped with a little shimmer? Its like an effortless pop of color look, I don’t go all out like I used to though 😂
