Dear friends! Since English is not my native language, I translate into English using Google Translate. Sometimes the translation is wrong. Instead of the word "Knit", I should have used the word "Crochet". I hope this doesn't affect your crafting process since you are following along with the video and since the title clearly says "Crochet"! Have a nice time!

Fantastic and beautiful work. I have made over 20 Russian crocheted beaded bracelets but I love your pattern the most and your explanation, even with the word ‘knit’ instead of crochet didn’t deter from your excellent tutorial. Thank you and I will now try your pattern. To those who have not done this, i can make several bracelets a week just sitting with my husband in the evening watching TV and I am almost 80 with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands but YOU CAN do it if you know how to crochet basic stitches. One hint for success is that I have an OTT light by my chair so being able to see each stitch is to me the most important tip. God Bless all.

I just tried this! I did the easy version by using big beads. I found the hard part was threading the beads while the crochet was easy & satisfying. I can see why these necklaces are over $100 on Etsy
@BeautyBeadsLand Жыл бұрын
Hello. not quite so))) such beaded ropes on Etsy are sold from $25. The price depends on the diameter of the rope (the number of beads in a circle), it's length and on the experience of the needlewoman. Also, with Japanese beads, all products are a little more expensive. I sold this particular rope for 34-38 dollars, but due to lack of time, I don’t make it to order now. Yes, to make such a beaded necklace you need to spend quite a bit of time))).

@@BeautyBeadsLandJesus. By what I see in the video (it takes no less than 5 minutes to make three rows, less than 1 cm) making a 42 cm long necklace must take no less than 4 hours of careful and continuous attention, plus the time to string so many beads, and counting to perfection otherwise the whole necklace would be messed up, even by one single bead out of place! (5 hours in total? More?) Add cost of materials etc. You are down pricing you work big time! You're considering your talent, work and experience about... what, 6$ an hour?!? I think 100 $ would be a better price, and one people are ready to pay for a work well done (if it's too cheap they'll also think it's not handmade). Good job anyway, and thank you for the great video! Hope you'll get what you're worth!

I have always loved crochet, and when I saw a crochet necklace with small beads, it was love at first sight))). Beaded necklaces, bags, lariats, thick, thin, I love))). As a tip, don’t take complex patterns to begin with, you can simply pick up one bead color per thread and learn how to crochet thin ropes (up to 10 beads in the circle crocheted with a slip stitch) and thicker ropes (from 10 beads in a circle with a single crochet).

Is it possible to add beads as you go, or is there a way to calculate how many you need to complete this beautiful pattern? I love crocheting, especially surprise gifts for family/friends, & this looks like something I would want to make for someone!
@BeautyBeadsLand Жыл бұрын
Hello. Optional. I usually pick up 2-2.5 m of beads on thread, then crochet it. When the beads on the thread run out, I cut off my working thread, put beads on the thread again, follow the pattern so that the pattern matches and tie the thread back. Using a regular knot, then I pull this knot into the weave. Maybe someone immediately picks up a large meter of beads per thread, but then a huge amount of time is spent just moving the beads along the thread during the crocheting process.
@tazdj6698 Жыл бұрын
@@BeautyBeadsLand Oh, alright! Thank you so much for that information! How many beads total did you use for this project, if you remember?
@BeautyBeadsLand Жыл бұрын
@@tazdj6698 unfortunately I can't answer you. I always buy large packs of beads and don’t keep track of how many beads are spent on each individual product. I assume that about 30 grams of white and about 20 grams of gold beads can be used on a necklace.

¡Muchas gracias!

This is a wonderful video. It tells us exactly how to crochet the necklace. Thanks for explaining the knit/crochet translation. I use DMC cotton #12 for my bracelets & a 1.50mm crochet hook. Is that the size hook you use? (Small just doesn't really tell us what size to use we need mm's because different manufacturers use different sizing & numbering) and are you going into the front or back loop or both when you do the stitching? Again wonderful video & your instructions are great 😊👍 Keep crocheting. Thanks, Patty 🧓
@BeautyBeadsLand Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I use a thin crochet hook, the size is written on it 0.6 mm, and I use denim thread number 36. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you more accurately so that it’s clear. The main thing is that when crocheting between the beads, this thread is not very visible; when the thread is thick, it is too visible in the finished product itself. Regarding the loops, you can crochet both loops, or just the outer loop. I usually crochet the outer loop (that is, the one that is farthest from me, the one that looks outward))))) Thank you very much! Good luck to you and all the best!🌞🎄🎊

I hope everything works out for you. the main thing is patience, do not rush, the first few centimeters are the most difficult, then the hand itself knits with a crochet)))

id like to give this a try but shorten it to be a braclet or a chocker and have different coloured beads OxO
@BeautyBeadsLand Жыл бұрын
Of course, you can start with a bracelet. and to begin with, you can not collect beads according to the pattern, but make them from beads of the same color, in order to understand the process of crocheting itself. Then you can crochet any pattern;)

Thank you for sharing this design with us. It is elegant and looks like something I would love too try.I have already ask how many grams ,say if you use 11o beads. I would love to try this out on a bracelet first. That way I know if I have the patience to make a necklace. Again thank you .😍😊 By the way do you know what size crochet needle you used. Well I went back to the beginning and saw all the materials need 😉 should have paid attention the first time.

I use a beading needle number 12. The main thing is that it freely threads your beads.😉❤️

Thank you for this wonderful video! I am trying to see if you are crocheting into the outside loop only or both loops? I don't know if it will matter, but I want to do it like you did before I start trying to improvise lol.
@BeautyBeadsLand Жыл бұрын
Hello! I crochet only in the top loop, but many people crochet in both loops, it doesn’t really matter, but for me it’s more convenient only in the top one.

Ok thanks! I did a test section and I think I need different thread or beads. I have 11/0 beads and I can see the thread between them even once I have several rows. I'm hoping I can find a thinner thread to try, maybe that will hide the thread behind the beads. @@BeautyBeadsLand

@@monday9026 Toho beads number 11, Delica beads number 11 and Czech seed beads number 10 are almost the same size. the thread may be visible because of a thick hook that prevents you from tightening the thread enough, or yes, if the thread is thick, then of course it will be visible. but for example, I can’t crochet on very thin threads, I always tighten my crocheting too much and the beads creep one on top of the other. I hope you will fix it!
@monday9026 Жыл бұрын
@@BeautyBeadsLand Thanks! I've got Toho 11 beads, but the thread I have is size 10, which was the thinnest crochet cord I could find. I'll look for thinner cord and let you know how it goes. ☺

@@monday9026 I was literally advised today that we can use silk thread number 36. I use cotton thread number 36. I hope that you find the best materials for you! When I started, there was little information and I was looking for my own materials, I spent quite a lot, but then I used all the materials for other handicrafts)))).
