I'm so glad you talked about some of your doll collecting history, and I hope you always feel free to do what makes you happy. I remember people in Elenentary school telling me Barbies are childish... I then forced myself to hate dolls, until I got my first Elsa(I really related to her and was obsessed with her character) doll and later got curious about Monster High, so I got a Boo York Nefera De Nile doll because I thought she looked unique and beautiful. Now I have a MH, Barbie, and other doll lines 'army' to combat anyone who claims dolls are childish! They are more than toys. They are minature works of art.

i really had that problem too, you know when i was like 3 years old my cousin borrowed me her ariel doll and i was absolutely in love with her !! this was back in 1998 , when the little mermaid was again popular and there was many franchise (because of the rerelease of 1997) and i went to the disney store and i saw that beautiful and gorgeous doll!! i really wanted it!! but i can remember that always when i wanted a doll my parents say ''no , its for girls '' i didnt know why i shouldnt play with them when i was a little boy , then when i was like 8 years old i showed two disney princesses (tiny dolls) to my uncles and aunts and they were very astonishment, they were afraid as if i were doing something wrong , their faces were like disappointed , looking at me as if i were doing a crime!! i didnt felt bad or sad but i was very ashamed because i thought i was doing something terrible!! also i felt very insecure of myself , well i grew up in my teenage years and i was judged as gay by my classmates just because they looked at me as weird just beacause i was different from them specially from boys , in my adulthood i was tired of many prejudices and being ashamed by doing something i love , i mean collecting dolls! so i decided to dare to buy one doll in disney store at my 20 years old , i buy the doll of princess aurora with money that i had , completing with my sisters money and what happened to me? i touched a doll and ? i didnt die , i didnt go to jail , i didnt get poisoned or something else !!! moreover i didnt become gay! just because a boy who plays with dolls that doesnt mean they will become homosexual or effeminate!! im emotional masculinist (new term discovered in 2014) and im very proud of being how i am and someday i will fight for all boys who play with dolls, i want to be a fashion designer but also an activist and i will show them that the boys can play with dolls wherever they want !! not in hidden from their fathers!! im glad to know a man who is not afraid to showing to the people who he is like you :)

I never make comments on KZbin but feel I just have to say this resonated so much! I'm 24 and was obsessed with my Bratz when I was younger, and into my teen years when everyone else had outgrew them. I even had a humiliating experience when I was about 15...I had a boy I liked round my house for the very first time and for some insane reason, no idea why, I got out my dolls to show him! He then obviously told everyone at school and it was so embarrassing - never made that mistake again! I sold all of them on eBay when I was about 18, but for years I've wanted them back, and I've often looked them up on eBay and Instagram, and watched KZbin reviews (have been watching your channel for a while now!) in the hope it would ease my desire for them as I could never bring myself to buy them again! I just moved to London a few months ago, and went through a period about a month ago when I wasn't feeling great and finally said stuff it! I'll buy some! So I bought about 10 Bratz - some old ones from my childhood and some new ones that I'd always wanted but never had! I know what you mean about wanting them more when you're feeling unhappy, but it's a very fleeting lift once you have them and you're a bit like, 'well what do I do with them now?!' Think I'm going to sell them on again as I feel I've got it out my system for now, but I think you're right in that it's something that never really leaves you - and it's good to know there's other people out there who feel the same way as me! P.S. keep up the great channel!

I’m not a doll collector myself, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for when I was a child and played with Barbies and Bratz with my friends or by myself. I was a kid when I bought dolls. Stopped buying them until 2011 when watching Tangled I bought my first doll in 10 odd years and since then I still buy dolls to this day off Disney movies that I love. I'm 27 years old, female and I have no regrets. So it was thanks to Tangled to let me collect dolls again. Be proud to showcase your collection. I have no regrets either.

First of all: thank you SO much for this video, it's really cute, beautiful and touching. I'm turning 25 this year and I can relate to every single aspect of things you told. My father bought me Jewel Mermaid Barbie for Christimas when I was 4 cause I loved mermaids so much (because of Ariel of course). He also bought at some point the Pocahontas VHS and I am since then obsessed with her. I was also bullied at school for playing more with girls and eventually with their dolls, and that kept at some point I had really to shut off my obsession for Ariel, mermaids dolls and stuff. Then the teenager years came up and I tried really to grow up over those things and fit into the people of my age by then. It worked for a while but then adulthood came up and I still deeply loved Disney Ariel princess and stuff so I gave some fucks and started buying dolls myself. It was supposed to be only a few but now I can't even count them! So relieving! I deal pretty good with the criticism even when sometimes people thinks it's weird but doll collecting brought me some really good friends and I realised I was not alone in this world. Again, thank you so much, your channel really inspires me to continue my collection and helped me a lot with it. Love

I actually enjoyed this video, and all the stories told. It's amazing that you had the support of both your parents. I wasn't even allowed to watch a Barbie cartoon when it was airing on tv. Awesome video! I always loved playing with my gal pal’s Barbies as a little kid. My mom noticed and bought me my own Barbie and Ken when I was about 6, but when I was around 10 I felt I was too old for them and got rid of them. Just a couple months ago I bought a new Barbie and Ken!

your video is so relatable. some of my memories just flashed back in my mind.i was used to buy dolls and hid them in a box.one day my mom opened it and I was so scared. but my dad didn't said anything. so I started collecting more from my savings.they were not that supportive in the beginning but after a year or two, they realized that this is what I love. but my mom still screams when a new doll arrives not because of any gender issue but the frequency of doll purchases haha.

My story is a bit of a doozy ( I’m American so excuse my slightly improper grammar ) okay so when I was really young maybe three I started playing dolls with my cousins which my dad didn’t like so he would always say if you bring a doll into this house I’m throwing it away so I’ve never owned my own doll brand new until I was about twelve i had gone to toysrus with my aunt a week after Christmas and bought an equestra girl doll with some Christmas money so I go back home hide the doll and for a few days I was happy as could be until my dad walked in on me brushing her hair and asked if it was my sisters I pretended it was then he found out it wasn’t mine and got mad at me for not telling him we had this extremely awkward talk an I’ve been collecting my OWN dolls ever since 😊

You have a really strong story. I couldn't imagine how hard was for you to sell all of your first dolls on eBay to try pleasing your mom... My story is quite sad and I was going through the hardest times when I was a child. I remember when I was like one year and half old, I used to play with "boy's toys" and some of them were very cool, but it wasn't what I really liked to play with, actually I wasn't having any fun with them. I grew up with my older cousins and the had tons of Barbie dolls... I used to see them by the locket of the door playing with them and making amazing and inspiring stories. Back in the day, my dad used to work for over eight hours per day and he used to come back home quite late at night and the only person who was with me was my biological mom, but she was always not so into maternity so, she used to ignore me all day long, even when I was a baby and she got me locked the whole day without the chances to be with my cousins, to play with the other children, or even to eat (but that's another story)... So, when she used to take long naps all day, she used to keep the tv on and I was awake on my baby crib starving and crying but then I saw the tv commercial that actually cheered me up and actually stopped crying: The Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie commercial! I was amazed by the gorgeousness of Barbie as a Mermaid and I got nuts when I saw that incredibly long platinum blonde hair with those sparkling stars to decorate her hair! I was so excited to tell my dad about that Mermaid Barbie and he told me that maybe The Three Magician Kings of the East will bring her to me if I was a good child! Then, in January 1997 I received here! She was my first Barbie ever and I actually I still have her!

I'm a 54 year old Grandma and I keep my dolls hidden in spare room in my house. We were too poor to have a lot of store bought toys, I had the hippie style Barbie and I loved her do much. My mom made a shoe box full of clothes for her from my out grown clothes. I felt so rich, and I played with my doll until I was 14. I was about 6 or 7 when I got her. Our other toys came from dumps where my grandpa and parents would dive through to salvage things to fix and resell. So adore your dolls and let them make you happy, mine do, and maybe you should make your own doll line, something people can afford for both children and adults.

Boy I feel the same about pocahontas, I use to watch the movie like every day when I was around 4 or 5 to the point that I wore the vhs out and cried until I got a new copy of it. Shes my favorite Disney princess, and over the last few years of having my own house I've started to build a small collection of her.

I was really poor when I was a child, and I really loved barbies and wanted one, but my parents couldn't afford an original mattel doll so I always had to play with those weird, knock-off barbies (which I loved anyways). Then I grew up and even being an adult, I still loved no just barbies, but most of the dolls, and I spent hours each time I went to the supermarket just watching the dolls, but it never crossed my mind buying one because in my head, dolls were for children. And that continued until I discovered the doll customization. I love drawing and crafting, so I tought it was awesome I could buy an old doll and turning it into any character I wanted! Then I bought my first used doll in a flea market... and I fell in love. Now I love buying old, mistreated dolls and restoring them to their old glory, and also have dolls waiting for a transformation that could never come, because I just don't have the heart to destroy them, even if I'll reconstruct them again... Anyways, colecting dolls has brought me so many satisfactions in my life, and I just wish I could have discovered earlier that is totally fine to do something that makes you happy, no matter how old you are.

Love this...as a male collector there’s a lot I relate to...I was lucky in a sense that I was allowed most things I wanted growing up...but somehow Barbie was the one thing my folks balked at me owning...that said with one of my first pay checks I bought my first Barbie and once the first doll arrived in the house the floodgates opened...I even had a Barbie Christmas at 16 (that I’d always wanted, with dolls and accessories under the tree) by way of my parents at an age where I was obvi too old, but whatevs...which looking back now was really awesome. I definitely went through a period where Barbie and dolls didn’t play a role and going off to college I gave a heap away to charity thinking I would never want them again...but that didn’t last forever and I’ve since repurchased a number of the ones I gave away and thankfully my mum saved a few as well, knowing I might regret my decision (she was right!). It definitely helped to have family support of the hobby (and know I’m pretty lucky in this regard). I now have an apartment that is just a grown up version of my 16 year old bedroom! It’s always good to share these stories for kids coming up because it does show that you can survive the wars intact while still remaining true to yourself with a lot of love and support wherever you find it. 💖💕💖

I had the same issue when I was in school, I got back to doll collecting when I was in high school and I didn't want talk about with my friends cuz they would make fun of me. But I share it with my doll community too like U and everyone is very very supportive

Thank you, I enjoyed watching. I started loving barbie when I was 5. Glitter hair was my first one. From then on I got aladdin and jasmine, esmeralda and many more. I too struggled with bullying, my weight and being in a disruptive household where I wasnt treated the best. My barbie collection were my friends. Overtime some I grew more too and more away from based on memories and what not. I have sold ones, bought more, sold more and got into making them over to then sell and collect. I really enjoy this hobby as a source of inspiration, creativity and individualism. Keep on collecting and making good videos

I always loved dolls as a kid, the difference is that I started with Ariel dolls , had a hiatus , then restarted collecting at 20 with my boyfriend and now we have an ever growing collection of Barbie dolls and I do collect separately little mermaid dolls . I can really connect with your story. I was bullied as a kid for my interests, but it didn't stop me until I was like 12 or 13 when I thought I had to grow up. It was never because of anyone in my life, I just thought I was doing the right thing. I shoved my dolls in the back of my closet and put my MLP toys in the trash. When I was 15, I got my dolls out because I discovered OOAK dolls, and that lead me to not only loving customs but also the dolls you see in stores. I turned 16 a couple months ago and I regret throwing my ponies away, I'm going thrifting tomorrow to see if I can find any. It makes me sad that I thought I couldn't be mature AND have toys but now I'm just happy I've reconnected with something that made me super excited.

I really enjoyed this video, man. I relate a lot to you on this. I didn't grow up in a liberal family, and I definitely was discouraged from playing with dolls and "girl toys". But if you look at my videos, you can see that I have been reclaiming my childhood as an adult, particularly by collecting toys and memorabilia from my favorite animated film, Anastasia.

I always loved Barbie dolls, especially the Disney ones. I remember wanting so badly that Color Splash Pocahontas, but unfortunately I grew up in an environment where a boy that likes to play with dolls was seen almost as a crime, so I grew up repressing that desire. My sister owned almost every Disney Princess doll, I used to hide to be able to play with them but I never owned one. My father did buy a doll for me, not the Pocahontas doll but the John Smith one...I remember my father asking me to decide either the John Smith one or the Kokum. My father visited Disneyland but he never took me with him. He had the job that a million BOYS would kill for, he worked manufacturing cars. Compared to the other boys around me, I never liked cars. I always thought i was born in the wrong environment, unlike you. So, to me it seemed like it was a forbidden desire. Your story is completely different since the moment your father understood your desire and brought a Pocahontas doll for you. The magic occurred all by itself, unlike me...you were blessed to grow freely worshiping and collecting dolls. Now, at almost 30 I spend my life working at the very same place my father did because I couldn’t find anything better. Hating my job and wondering how the hell am I going to finally discover my power in order to get what I want. I hate cars, I love dolls...I don’t get this world where boys are supposed to love cars, but I worship people like you because your uniqueness makes the real difference. You inspire me. PS Not everything is tragedy, there is a toy shop near my office. I sneaked into it and found a low price Cinderella doll. She became the first Disney Princess I ever owned...at 28, yes I had to reward my little self 5 year old.

Your story sounds like mine. I got my first doll just a few months old. And as a child it was OK to have dolls. But parts of my family thought that I was way too old at 11 to get dolls. Well at 14 I was really bullied and thought that if I just stopped playing with dolls and stop buying them it would make me less a target and more "normal". I remember the years until I was 16 with horror. I did always look at the dolls when I went to different stores and just did dream of getting them. Well at 16 I said screw this and started to but collectors dolls. And now when I'm 33 I say that I collect dolls. If people don't like it it's their problem and not mine. So keep collecting 👍

I am a doll collector (Barbie family with an emphasis on the 1960s Ken and Allan dolls) because these dolls make me happy and play/display/photography time with them is a necessary part of my life. I am still collecting dolls into my 30's. My Mom doesn't like it at all, but by now I think she's given up and knows she can't stop me. And I live on my own so there's nothing she can do. The only dolls I really collect now are the Princesses of the World collection released by Mattel in the early 2000s.

Ever since I was a child I've always had such an immense love for dolls, specifically barbie dolls. When I was a child I caught on very quickly that it was considered "weird" or "unnatural" for a boy to play with such toys. My step father had expressed his disproval and disgust for my feminine side and my mother was easily swayed. I kept that part of me hidden for so many years. Only being able to play with barbies and other dolls in secret with my girl friends and cousins. I remember a deep fear and constant anxiety every time I had a doll in my hand, so afraid that my parents would see me and belittle me. It wasn't till I was much older and had my first job that I had finally bought one of my own. I remembered being so embarrassed and convincing my friend that it was a joke. Claiming that it would be so fun to have then and cut off all their hair and deface them for a laugh. I had bought a blonde swimsuit barbie doll for my friend and a black haired swimsuit barbie for myself. Something just clicked in my heart and a spark was struck when I got home and held that doll in my hands while I was alone in my room. After that I had quickly ordered 4 more from target and had them shipped to my house. My mom had seen the package and questioned me. I was honest and she immediately replied with venom and disgust. I was a boy and I was an adult at that, around 20 years of age. The following year I had discovered something about myself and came out to my parents. I was told that I was not accepted and was disowned as well as kicked out from their house. I remember saving my barbies but sadly leaving so many other dolls that i had collected. It wasn't until recently that I had realized that part of the love I've had for barbie was an immense envy, gender envy to be exact. I've always wanted to be a girl, a girl like barbie. She's always been such an important figure to me and someone ive looked up to even as an adult. And now here I am at 22. Living with an amazing foster family that saved me from my mother and step father. I am safe and free to be who I am and my barbie collection (as well as many other doll types) has grown. And the best part is that my new family doesn't treat me any different for my identity or my love for dolls.

Its hard to apply this to family, but when it comes to friends - if someone judges you or thinks badly of you for the things you enjoy, you don't want them as friends! And often its a two way street...chances are they will love or enjoy something you don't understand and they will be be worried you will judge them for it. Wow years have passed this video is from 2019, I remember you just posted this in just a few hours, because of your chanel it makes me realize that as boy I shouldn't be ashamed of me playing and collecting dolls, As a kid I still remember my Father said that when I turned 12 he will throw away my dolls, fortunately it never happened maybe because I'm kinda defensive because of the discrimination I have experience on my childhood, I kept my secret at school that I'm gay and just pretended I'm straight, luckily at Grade 7 I truly reveal who I am, the bullying at my high school life is so bad because of it but I when I turn senior I have friends who accepts me for who I am and that includes me collecting dolls, Doll collecting is completely normal and I learned that if ever one day there's someone who makes fun of it I wouldn't feel akward but instead I will make him feel akward for minding someone's business, I built so much confidence way back then and I'm so proud now that I'm getting the person that is strong enough to protect myself, I want to be a Fashion Designer because of Barbie and she inspires me that everything is possible, I've been a solid fan since 2016!!

this video is great love it and reminds its so much like how i was bullied at school and i think the only thing that got me through it was collecting dolls i got my first one at 8 years old and still collecting them and i know how it makes you feel so good when you buy a new one that rush you get and i know how people judge you as i was seeing someone for a couple of years and thought it was time to tell him and show him my collection he said it was ok but not seen or heard from him since but it has not stopped me from buying new ones it makes me happy that im not the only guy that buys dolls keep your videos coming great work

I feel like hugging you! Thanks for this great story video. It’s very relatable as I’ve also been bullied for doll collecting and sold my collection back in the day for that reason. I also find myself buying dolls when I am unhappy as a coping mechanism for my anxiety and depression. I have a 17 month old son that I want to include in my doll collecting eventually whenever he shows any interest. For now I enjoy collecting and playing dolls with my 6 year old step daughter. Being a parent I find makes it easier to justify the amount I buy. I don’t know if I wouldn’t have re-ignited my passion for dolls without them. That part does make me happy.

I'm a school teacher with sons about your age. I just found your channel by looking up Holiday Barbies and I am enjoying watching your videos. You asked us to post in the comments the reason we began collecting dolls. I had an older sister and have always had Barbies. I am sure she had a #1 Barbie, because I still have the shoes. I think my mother "traded her in" at an event when the twist and turn Barbie came out, but I'm not sure. I have all of our childhood Barbies and their clothes. When I was about ten years old, I read the book, "Hitty, Her First Hundred Years," by Rachel Field. Hitty was a doll in an antique store who was writing her memoirs at night. She was carved by a peddler in the early 19th century and had many adventures, including meeting Charles Dickens. After this, I begged my mother for antique dolls and she bought me a china head doll for Christmas. I still have quite a large collection, but for the past two years, I have started collecting Barbies again.

I had a sudden obsession with collecting dolls when I was sixteen. I was at that time already very into fashion and a family friend gave me a Calvin Klein Jeans Barbie she found at an antique store for me that I have never taken out of the box because I cherish it too much. My older brother and his friends would call me gay and fag whenever they saw me looking at my at the time small collection in my bedroom. Love your story! I honestly stopped playing with Barbies when I was 18. I just started collecting dolls this year. I’m starting first by repurchasing Barbies and Barbie playsets I either still have or had growing up. I do still have some that I had growing up but lost a few due to moving and I definitely regret getting rid of some of my Childhood toys. I’m 26 and My husband and best friends are completely supportive. Both my husband and I collect many different things from Pops!, Harry Potter, Disney, DC, Star Wars and Hello Kitty so no surprise that I am now collecting dolls. My husband even said once we move into a house I will have a separate room just to display my dolls. 💖

Mine began w/ the Brooke Sheilds doll & the beginning of my 💗 for Barbie when I got Twirly Curls Barbie. My last Barbie was in 6th grade as well, 1989 Holiday Barbie, because I was "getting too old" for them. My teen & young adult years were pretty dark. Now, much, much older I have returned to dolls. I wish I could afford to replace the ones I had, so far I have only one. But the process of finding her, searching for the others & learning as much as possible about old & new dolls by watching channels such as yours has made me happier than I have been since I was a child.

Ah man, I loved my barbies growing up that was the main set of dolls I had (some I still have now, luckily not too beat up!) But when monster high came out I was just barely starting middle school and kids had already kinda made fun of me for other interests so when that was kind of found I got ripped to shreds and I felt so ashamed, despite having some of the dolls I ended up hiding them somewhere in my closet and pretended I didn't like any of it along with many other things. Being younger I guess it's hard to just move past and do your own thing when you get so tormented and I didn't really have friends until high school, I had some major life events my first year but the way I ended up healing was I started to focus on well, me. I decided to shift focus on things I actually really like and I still adored dolls and I brought out the monster high dolls I shoved away so long ago, and brought out some of my old barbies and that started to help my journey of healing. I've been really becoming and staying true to myself and I have never felt better about myself, I wish my younger self had that, but I guess sometimes that just comes up with growing up. I just related to so much of your story and I really enjoyed this video!! I'm currently 19, gonna be 20 in a few months

Totally relate to all this, my parents were so great about not judging me playing with dolls, but they probably worried more about my social development since I replaced them with action figures and then comics all through adolescence. Finally when I was an adult, I think they just said Oh well, we love him no matter what, its up to him to decide how to live his life.

You are an amazing cute person. I too loved dolls as a child. Barbie mainly and then madam Alexander. I however also loved strawberry shortcake,my little pony, rainbow bridge as I was a 80s child. Forever will be!!! I still play with dolls. I'm all grown up but a child inside. Nothing to be ashamed of. I am a lot older than you, finding my breath taken away by the beauty of dolls displayed in a toy store glass cabinet when I was small. It sent me on a lifetime quest. A lot of hiding. I wasn't personally ashamed within myself, but given the social climate I didn't want anyone to know. Certainly the family! Our stories are a bit different and yet very much the same. I've always loved dolls and I've had some of the same experiences about people thinking you're too old. I just roll my eyes inwardly. When I am depressed I buy more dolls as well. I buy things to fill a void of some kind but like you said it's very short lived. Sometimes I think drugs would work better but then I wouldn't have money for dolls ha ha :P

You have an interesting story about collecting Barbies and other dolls. I think everyone who collecting dolls have an interesting story. When I was young I use to really like Barbies. I remember when I was in pre school my teacher said that on Friday we can bring any toys at home and play with it in school. So I brought my sister's Barbies and I remember kids were shocked because the Barbies were broken. They didn't care that I brought Barbies to school they only care on trying to help me fix my Barbies. I remember when I was like 4 yrs old the very first Barbie that I really want was Jewel Hair Mermaid Midge. And my cousin had her for her birthday and I was jealous. My cousin let me play with that Barbie. Three years later my cousin let me have Midge but I said no b/c her hair was really frizzy. My parents didn't mind of me playing with Barbies and buy me some. They wanted me to be happy no matter what I want or like. I never have anyone who bullied me on playing with Barbies. I have never told anyone at school. I didn't have many friends growing up so I have to defend myself at school and keep personal things to myself also. But there was one time back in 2001, my family and I went to Target and I went to the Barbie section. This girl came up to me and said "This is a GIRL ISLAND ONLY! You gay ass freak." I'm from the US and I grew up in kinda ghetto neighborhood where I have to defend myself. So I said to that girl "That rule isn't real. Where does it said that boys aren't allow to buy, play and walk into the Barbie asile? We don't see boy toys said that FOR BOYS ONLY." I grabbed some Barbies and while saying to her. "You know what I don't care on what you or anyone say about me. You tell me that I'm bad well I say that you're even more bad. I don't mind if a girl wants to play with cars or nerf gun. And I especially don't mind if a boy wants to play with Barbies or Bratz. So what's your excuse?" I took another Barbie off the shelf and I smack her face with it and walked away. But in my teens years I was over with Barbies. When I was starting out in college I began collecting Barbie till this day.

It’s funny I always had dolls growing up and Barbie was one of my first words....it wasn’t until I was in middle school that my mom tried to put a stop to it because I’m a boy and I’m too old for dolls. I came home from school when I was 11 and they were all gone...she told me she threw them away I was heart broken. When we moved she pulled them all out of a closet and I was so thrilled when she saw how happy I was with them she eventually just let it go and let me continue collecting.

I still kept them and loved to see them. Last year, I started collecting dolls. I so felt understood and happy to see so many people liking Barbies like me... I really connect with your experience as I also felt the sort of stigma of being ashamed for being a Boy who played with dolls as a kid... Altough my cousins were supportive as they were all girls and had dozens of dolls so playing with me wasn't that hard, the kids in school when they Found out that I liked dolls that's where I stated to feel a little bit embarrased so I gave them to my cousins or simply destroyed them (!) and then I didn't think about dolls up until I saw The Toys that made us series and saw the episode dedicated to Barbie and I suddenly started to remember the cool times I had playing with them, when my mom gave me a Mermaid Barbie as a birthday gift and also how much fun I had with my Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie and Midge who where my favorite toys, and I finally accepted that part of me that I completely repressed from my memory. It was also a relief finding out there were other guys of my age who also collected dolls, because I now feel I have a place on earth for dudes like me who no longer are ashamed about collecting dolls... So now the only thing that worries me about collecting dolls is trying not to spend lots of money only on dolls!! For now, I'm trying to save some money to buy a Jewel Hair Mermaid Midge for my birthday (as well as finding out where to buy it). I really feel comfortable as you are the voice of many of us!
