Ok so here are my results, Ok ik she said that you have to soak it, What i did was put the coffe in the bowl then i got some plasic golves on and just put coffe all over my hair. After it was all in. I massed and mixed it all in my hair. And then put tin folil oh my hair. But in sections. I waited a hour and a half then took tin foil out. Then i shampoo and condtion my hair. In COLD water. and it worked great. Really recmend this

Okay soooo.... TIPS if you are reading the comments instead of watching the 4 minutes of this Make coffee, put it in a bowl, soak your hair in the bowl for 1 hour, ONLY use conditioner to get rid of coffee smell. IT does fade away, but takes a long time.

I've toned my hair with Nescafe instant coffee in the past and it worked great. I had very pale, ashy highlights and the coffee gave the colour a bit of warmth and made it a bit darker, which is exactly what I wanted. What I did was dissolve 2 tablespoons of Nescafe instant coffee in two cups of boiling water. Once the mixture cooled to lukewarm, I poured it over my hair after I shampooed it and left it on and dryed and styled my hair as usual (I did not rinse the coffee from my hair after pouring it on, but it did not leave any coffee smell on my hair after my hair was dried) The results very subtle but noticeable enough to be seen. This only lasts until the next shampoo and those with longer hair may need more water and coffee (My hair is shoulder length so 2 cup so of water and 2 tbsp coffee was enough)

Ive been trying to grow ugly brassy orange hair from years of dying it, so I only needed to do my ends. Well, I have a tip for y’all: 1) separate hair into ponytails, 2) pour a little bit of coffee into little ziploc bags, 3) dip hair into coffee inside of ziploc bags, tie them with elastics and let the hair soak for as long as you want! (Please make sure not to pour too much coffee into the bags. It gets heavy lol. Good luck !

I used Maxwell House instant coffee to add a bit of warmth to my hair (a dark slate kind of natural color), left it on for a few hours, and it worked. Just remember to wear gloves - as my palms got stained and that had me feeling like a corpse mid-putrefaction.

Loved this! You just saved my life. I have turquoise hair and I want to dye it back to brown. The problem is that if I dye it with a box dye it will turn out dark green. So now I can just bleach out the colour and do the brown this way, so that it is less damaging. Amazing! really, thanks!

Cherrymatic F Don't get me wrong, I just don't want you to ruin your hair with bleach. It is very aggressive! I had an bleached ombre for a little less then a year, and I allways have split ends since then, also my hair is very dry. I read that with box dye you can slo aviod the green if you first dye a red-brown and then a dark brown over it. Dying it is less damaging then bleaching.

I know what bleach does to your hair. But believe me, dying it with box dye can make as much damage if you dye it a lot. :)

What I did was i brewed a cup of coffee and then put that in the fridge to cool, i then took a conditioner and coffee grounds and mixed all that together, apply to hair and let it settle for a hour. After said hour wash it out ( you can use a shampoo if desired, I just washed it out with water) It lasts longer and darkens the hair more than just soaking it in coffee. I did this a few days ago so I'm not sure how long it will last.... As said near the end of the video it will fade eventually..

Does this actually work?? Update: yes and no. Background story, I have dirty blond hair and I wanted it to be darker. I made the coffee sit in my hair for 1 hour and honestly it didn't do much... my hair got probably 1 shade darker but that's it. And also be prepared that your hair WILL smell like coffee for a week. I tried washing it over and over agin and even used a hair mask to try and cover the smell but nothing worked.....probably won't do it again cause of the smell 😅 Oh and btw my went back to its original color probably a month after i did this.. so no its not permanent 👍🏼😊

+MrsBrit1 Thank you! If you wash your hair regularly with shampoo especially the clarifying shampoo I noticed that the color faded quickly. The shade is snot permanent at all as I've mentioned in the video, but if you keep on using it you'll maintain the color. :)
