Batteries transmit power to adjacent buildings, you don't need power shafts

The positions of the shafts could also be used for some small Waterwheels. Just for some extra energy during BadTides

It's very cool looking, but you didn't need to shaft along the entire aqueduct - the gravity batteries share power connections like other powered buildings do, so connecting one would have been enough 😉

I would also suggest spreading some of your charging stations (and grease) about, where possible, so that they are nearer to where the bots are working. Like you do with food/water storage for working beavers.

You've had your Bot control tower paused for the whole episode. Turn it on and your bots will work harder.

Replace the unnecessary power line behind the batteries with powerwheels. It will charge your batteries during badtide. If you have enough batteries, power should last between tides.

BIFFA! I reckon an artificial WATERFALL powering watter-wheels using the run-off/wastewater from the KETTLE and the MegaDAMN the should deliver constant power!!! I think Beaverbots need couple of charging stations dotted around town, so they don't have to walk too far. Love the series. Keep up the good work mate!!

Hey Biffa you may need to build a large power plant to recharge the gravity batteries. Once they discharge they don't give any power. Love the timberborn series!

I'm wondering the same. I *know* Biffa knows how those batteries work - he used them extensively in his previous Timberborn game - but it's hard to tell what he's thinking, investing so much effort into power *storage*, but not *generation*.

When you unlock one type of job it unlocks all jobs in all of the buildings that are the same. Start automating your jobs everything. Get it all automated. You need to automate everything so that way your beavers can go up to a score of 50. You have a score of 14. I don't know why you play the way you do. Please make things all botted

Since buildings (including batteries) transfer power between them directly, you could pull out the badaquaduct's power shaft out and instead fill that channel with the efficient (small) water wheels for a bunch of free power during a bad tide

7:48ish you can lower the batteries to inside the kettle and they will all be hidden. It's a clever use of space & you can dynamite channels in it for maximum efficiency

You have to use power to store power......Unless your using water power it's sort of a break even proposition.

Another alternative for power routing is underground. Many buildings will connect power to an upward or vertical power shaft that they are built on, so if you plan your power before your buildings (or rebuild) you can connect all of the power from underneath, either by dynamiting power tunnels or by building the industry a level up. At the very basic level you can connect two buildings under a path with two upward and a straight shaft under a platform.

You had a problem with the amount of power and you didn't build any power generation, just power STORAGE. And since all your power comes from engines, which run all the time, the batteries are useless in the long term at the moment. You should narrow down the channel below them and build lots of water wheels there to charge the batteries, so they can give back the power during droughts. And the unit on a gravity battery is horsepower-hour, which means it can give you that much power for an hour, or half of it for two hours and so on.

It might be fun if when the bots get to the amount they can run the colony, a certain mad scientist started to sabatoge breeding pods so only him and his family are left. Would be an interesting story moment hahaha.
