Others may be complaining, but I am always very thankful to have high-quality delayed coverage for free. I remember the absolute frustration of not being able to watch delayed coverage due to paid-coverage taking precedence. I am exceptionally happy DGPT did not go down that route, in an effort to extract more cash from fans.

How is Central Coast "big brother? DGPT doesn't actually do these silver series videos. They pay Central Coast, Gatekeeeper, and GK Pro to do them. Good thing too, because the couple personal touches the DGPT required from them were really bad and have already been changed. DGPT would likely do a worse job if they were actually the ones doing the videos. I agree though that it's not awesome that central coast didn't get this out until Sunday. I'm not sure if they have been consistently slower than GK and gatekeeper but they were this time. GK had the Ladies round 1 up on the DGPT channel at around noon yesterday.

@@justbrowsing5279 I'm surprised I keep seeing this comment this late in the season. Last year FPO started after the 3 size larger MPO field. It got flipped this year so FPO is in the morning. That's why FPO is consistently coming out first this year on post. They get a head start.

@@ItsAllGood_ Everyone knows FPO plays first, but it shouldn't take so long for coverage to get uploaded. MPO should have been up yesterday afternoon at the latest. I'm not sure why DGPT takes so long to upload if the other channels are doing the coverage, they all are consistently great at posting quickly on their own channels.

They have live coverage but behind a paywall? That's not the way to monetize coverage. You would be much better off going for more sponsors. The sponsors pay more than your subscribers, and they'll be happier because when you stream it for free you get much heigher viewership. Especially for a sport like disc golf where a lot of the appeal for a huge part of the player base is that it's a fun, cheap way to spend a day. Usually people who get you into the sport will gift you a few discs and 99% of courses are free to play. Going for a subscription based method with this demographic of people is just poor planning and bad buisness. People don't want to pay more to watch a round of disc golf than they would to play one.

This is why it's a good idea to remember that there are several different crews that can turn around footage in under 24 hours from the round actually taking place. I mean, even the disc golf guy has quicker turnaround than this sometimes.

Really appreciated the throwing speeds today as 3/4 of the players here can throw 70mph+ but are all throwing 60s with the footing and grip issues. Very interesting to see! One bit of feedback: I'd love to still see the speed gun come out for the slower wooded shots. It's still interesting to see them soften up to like a 45mph throw so we mortals can understand their strategies and when they back off and how much. Thanks for the coverage!

It's also the smart way to play in heavy rain when the disc only gets more slippery as you stand there. Getting off the course faster is a bonus.

Huh, I didn't see it that way. He was having a few grip problems early on, so I think he just decided to only visualize the shot, then throw it fast before the disc gets wet.This is edited, so they'd cut out any setup without a disc. The one putt he left in the bag until the very last second, already in position and on a knee before he grabbed it. Seems like didn't work better, but I can see why he was trying it and you don't know until you try. A guy with his experience doesn't really need to line it up more than just to see it, that dummy throws are more for feeling a routine for muscle memory, but with the weather, nothing was going to feel like a standard routine anyway.

Every little bit of everything you said is nonsense. These are elite players. Mcbeth has the same cry if lose, get fired up if I win personality as Tiger. Conrad has tons of personality. GG is a showman. What do you mean we need more "armature events"? There are literally hundreds of amateur events every weekend. No one is going to record them though because the level of play is drastically lower. If you think half the kids, or even a single one of them, at your local course play better than anyone playing in this tournament, you are very new to disc golf and have a lot to learn.
