Absolutely love Beavers Bend!!! My family loves going there! In the summer time, cold water feels wonderful!! You must check out all the wineries! They all have some tasty wine but there are some beautiful places & good food!

We still have conservation corps today. I worked for one for several years training young people 18-25 in work ethics, job skills like using a chain saw and maintaining them along with other small engine tools and hand tools. Also of course doing good work in our community reducing fuel load on the lands near our town and doing work to improve water supply and quality. Thank you for your videos. This was very interesting.

"What does do not feed the fears mean? When something scares us and we do it anyway, it forces us to grow, to learn about ourselves and can leave us with the outcome and mindset of feeling accomplished, confident and unstoppable. The more we face our fears and work through them, The more we realize that our fears can't control us if we control them" - I love this

We have several other other videos that will be coming your way to show you more highlights of the beautiful state and I’m hoping that through these videos people can get an understanding that every single state has something spectacular to offer. We just have to know where to look.

Cool place! Oklahoma has some really beautiful places. My favorite state park is Honeymoon Island State Park in Florida. It’s gorgeous. Natural beaches and hiking trails and there’s even some eagles nesting in treetops off the trail.

Beavers Bend may be the best Oklahoma State Park, it's my favorite anyway. But Robbers Cave, Roman Nose and Black Mesa State Parks are pretty nice too. Especially if hiking is your thing, they have great trails.

I grew up here. Still here. McCurtain County, Oklahoma has 2 different lakes. Broken Bow lake and Beavers Bend. Which now has a Choctaw Casino and Resort up on the highway lots of shops, restaurants, activities, but outside of the park area. You can go kayaking, zip lining, horse back riding and other things inside the park. Just too much to mention. Tent and Rv camping, cabins and a couple of lodges. Lots to do

Petit Jean State Park outside of Morrilton, Arkansas. It’s about an hour or so outside of Little Rock. This park has tons of trails, rock climbing, beautiful sunsets, lakes, the legend of Petit Jean, Mather Lodge, waterfalls, cabins, RV camping, tent camping, yurt camping and more. There’s also the museum of automobiles and the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute located on the Rockefeller cattle farm.

The reason the water is so cold is because that side is Mountain Fork River. It is cold year round. The big dam on 259A is Broken Bow Lake
@BunnyPlaysHere5 ай бұрын
It’s also because when we were there, it was still considered to be winter I think lol but yes I do understand that. Also, if you’re going there during the summertime.
