So the dam is holding back a lot of water. Beaver dams to do. But is there a reason for removing it other than making a video?

The flooding from the water held back damages surrounding land.

@@franhibbs2494 The point is all Beaver Dams flood surrounding land and in the mind of the beholder do damage. They also raise the water table, create a habitat for all kinds of life and help prevent the spread of fires. So usually if you're going to remove one you have to have a good reason beyond it just doesn't look nice.
