CRT cataracts in bubbles. Something new. Old TVs used to have that from the inside out. There is another piece of glass on top of the CRT that is bonded with some glue. The glue got these bubbles in it. It can be fixed with patience and heat. Look at this video how do deal with it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4XGi5V4pZqsfbs

it could also be mold/fungus, if the protective glass isn't bonded completely with clear adhesive to the CRT but simply placed over it.

It cataracts seen it even on new vintage TV’s I restored. You have to remove the CRT completely and with a hot airgun at not to high temperature but enough to heat glue and use a plastic or a metal paint scraper to separate safely glass from CRT while prying safety glass away while keeping heat on it very slowly and allow glass to slowly lift. Then one glass is off use Acetone to remove and clean up glue on CRT and safety glass. I put new Optically Clear adhesive and start glue in center and let run out to edges while putting even pressure not to crack the glass or implode the CRT and then UV cure it. You can use a large vacuum chamber to get bubbles out. You don’t have to put the glue and can put rubber at edges of glass so safety glass doesn’t hit CRT and just reinstall.

The pink device is a coil. It's been insulated from the heatsink next to it. A good idea considering that it's in the CRT section and it probably carries a few hundred volts. A CRT out of a Philips Videowriter might work in there.

Spark gapped capacitors, often seen around old CRT sockets.

7:17 I think these are spark gaps in the capacitors. At least on the schematic they draw them like that

hat der Logic Analyzer bereits ein neues Zuhause gefunden oder wartet er immer noch auf einen liebevollen Technikschrauber der ihn aufarbeiten möchte ?

Looks like bakterial growth in between the protection Film and the crt.

Yes, and it's very odd. I've learned it's called CRT-cataracts.

If the front face of the display is flat, the CRT is coupled to the faceplate via a fibre optic array; the bubbles are probably areas where the bond between the fibres and the CRT or the faceplate has failed.

Tarifprüfgerät...literally "tariff test device"...sounds like something for testing multi-tariff electricity meters rather than telephone equipment. I'm guessing the Aphex exciter is for TV?

The Tarifprüfgerät is something for the telephone industry of the 80ies. Because of the 0V supply, and the postal service stamps. It might check for the tariff pulses(?). The Aphex Exciter is a useful tool for audio. I am using an Apex 207 for my audio setup in the office.

Nasty case of crt cataracts :( People have been known to remove the outer plane of glass along with the goop. Takes patience and heat.
