Well Cece I am 51 years old now. When I first heard this song I was about 19 or 20 years old riding in the back of my aunts Chevy caprice high and club hoping. But hearing this song I began to weep in the back of that car. I was broken hearted and I didn't know this was about the fathers love. I just knew it was about love. A love that I desired and was seeking because I could only hope this kind of love existed. I didn't come to Christ right away though this song touched me so and it wasn't the song it was the father touching me in my pain in a dark place that no one knew I was in. I always tell people how the father used this sing to draw me.... With his loving kindness..... I am forever grateful... I was lost.. I was lost.... I was lost... And yes I thought it was secular but it was so powerful it reached me.....

My local radio station used to play this song the same time every morning...and I could not/would not get out of the bed in the morning until I heard this song. It was as if my spirit was saying, "Now we can get up and start the day." I was being saved and didn't even know.
