This song is so quintessentially Bebe. One of the things I’ve always loved about Bebe is how uniquely beautiful her voice is, and a lot of her older pieces, like this one, showcase it really well. It’s rough and real and raw, and she uses vocal cracks as an expressive tool in a really interesting way, but her new music just seems like it’s doing everything it can to hide that voice. It’s sad to see
