Farida Khanum Saahiba is a living legend. No matter how many times I hear her gifted vocals, I just cannot get enough of it. Each and every time I listen to her, a new aspect emerges which astounds me. If I was a tabla player or an accompanying artist Faridaji would have been the first musician I wanted to do sangat with. Thank you 😊 Regards to Munir Niazi Saahab also for penning such a wonderful ghazal.

Uskii aawaz mein zaadoo to hai. Kaise ek tak lga kar sun rhe the log. I listened her all famous gazal, like, wo mujhse.., ye kya ki..., Kuchh aur gum..., Dile mujtar ko...But this gazal first. Love to Bahin Farida. She reminds me those days of 1985 when I had come back to my Gadwal after the great falour for jobs in Bombay, Delhi etc. But I never abonded to listen Radio Pakistaan. It is my habit since 1976. God bless you Farida khanum jii. India, Uttarakhand, Kedarnath se.
