The one you called Longiloba is A. Longiloba 'Watsoniana' and the other one you called Hybrid is A. Longiloba 'Lowii'.. ther are lots of other longiloba subspecies like 'Grandis', 'Complex' etc. To add , the one you refered to as Sanderiana is Psuedo Sanderiana and the other one you called Nobilis is actually the A. Sanderiana.. A. Sanderiana 'Nobilis' specimen hasn't been seen for almost 100yrs so it is said to be extinct

Very nice!Newbie plantita here and I enjoy this vlog since alocasia is included in my wishlist eversince. Recently got my Sanderiana thats why i was looking for caretips for alocasia. Next on my list will be Amazonica(yun lang mejo pricey siya dito samen kaya nag Sanderiana muna ako 😁) After watching this vlog parang gusto ko na rin mag collect ng iba pang variety. Very lucky talaga un mga nasa province esp jan sa area nyo kasi madali makahanap ng iba2 variety at mas affordable un price unlike here sa area namen. Looking forward sa next vlog mo pa. And pa shout out din po sana hehe #bekenemen 😁👍

thanks for your plant tour 😁looking forward sa care tips for alocasia macrorrhiza variegata, one of my fave 😁 i also have nigra, odora and the baby albo,i only have 3 palang pala! sila fave ko 😅 , on my list ang corazon, black velvet and batwing, try to look for alocasia batwing sir, magada rin sya. there are some sellers of tigrina here in luzon, sabi nga nila rare, the most expensive i saw was 3,800 4ft.. ☘️❤️

Yes rare din ang tigrina dito 400 small size kaya mejo pricey pa dito sa north luzon yung amazonica naman common dito sa north luzon 100 pesos big leaves na hehe ang longiloba din mahal dito hahah kokonti pa kasi may ganyan dito

I'm a collector too and have lowii bought in my area , real longiloba which I thought watsoniana I also have sanderiana, pink dragon , yucatan princess,bambino, leuterbachiana, dragon scale, Albo, mickey mouse, silver dragon, green velvet,black velvet, green shield,, tiger,wentii,, one like yucatan but black stem alocasia, cuprea and the newest is alocasia Melo. My favorite stingray, zebrina and sarian did not survive repotting😬

Hi Sir Bechoy, thanks for sharing your alocasia collections. Honestly, I am a bit envious because the few that I have are all challenging to care for. I am in Bicol Luzon. We have our share of alocasias which I think common here so they are easier to care for like my zebrinas. Now i know the other one I have which i bought from a hidden nursery. It is Tigrina, like yours. I love the unique designs in its leaves that sets it apart from our common alocasias. I notice that the kind that abounds in Mindanao are rare and difficult to care for here, obviously like my black velvet. I think that is what nature is. Blessings are spread. Not only among plants, even among animals, and maybe even among people. That is why we need to share, for the enjoyment of all. But I think we should leave the plants alone where they thrive best, and be content about what we have. Just my opinion. No offense. In fact I resolve to have more of our endemic and indigenous species here.
