I think her trust issues can be justified I mean so many girls keep coming on to beck and flirting with him, but that's not the problem, the problem is he doesn't do anything to fend them off. Some might say he's not trying to be rude, but what is so rude about simply saying "I have a girlfriend", and if the other person doesn't back off even then, then I don't think being courteous should be the first thing you're worried about. Just look at that time the girl at the karaoke bar (the one where Jade and cat competed against them on stage) was flirting with him, CAT had to be the one to say that Beck had a girlfriend, When Jade says a girl is into him (and more often than not she turns out to be right), he tells her it's all in her head and never even tries to take her seriously. For goodness' sake in the very first episode Beck kisses another girl in front of Jade. I mean if they were professional actors and this was a job or whatever sure, but that was a situation where he could easily have said "let's not". He's either so clueless he doesn't realise how this would make his girlfriend feel, or he doesn't care (which is worse).

What a toxic relationship. Jade would always be way too possessive and controlling over him, to the point where she even threw a rock at him. I love Jade as a character, and I agree that she's hilarious and a savage, but her personality is completely psycho and somewhat a bit too glamorized. Hate on Tori all you want, but she's like this with everyone, especially Cat. I don't mean to be that one guy, but if the genders were reversed (or at least if Jade was Tori), Jade would not be praised as "iconic" or "misunderstood" and instead be hated on. Realistically speaking, she needs therapy. I don't exactly feel bad for Beck though, because he kinda brought this upon himself. I'm not gonna trash on him for letting other girls flirt because I'd say it's mostly him trying not to be rude, but he does act pretty condescending and I feel that sometimes he angers her on purpose, knowing how Jade would react. Instead of trying to help her, he just takes advantage of her. He started the argument here over a dumb game show. But hey, if he thinks "easy is boring" and thinks "difficult relationships are better," then that's on him. Anyways the real victim here is Cat.

But she's not gonna outright tell Beck that.And seeing as Tori says she admires Jade for saying what she thinks, but Jade isn't like that with Beck. She needs to open up more and trust that he wouldn't cheat on her. But trust issues will never let her open up to him and her very first reaction to feeling insecurity in their relationship is anger. And he's way too lax in their relationship. Understandably, don't hate on him for girls flirting with him. But the show I think kinda portrays him as this chill dude but, when girls flirt with him he looks uncomfortable so why doesn't he say something? Also, he likes difficult relationships, but won't work in them. He never understands why she gets jealous and doesn't think to ask her. If he wanted to get past the walls she built for herself, he'd try to get through them. It's obvious that their relationship was toxic. And yes I agree, Cat should not have been dragged into this. They should've made her leave the minute she opened the door to the Janitor's closet.

I love psychology and learning about it so as someone who study psychology I can say that Jade is depressed. And it have something to do with her attitude. Depression is not only being quiet and sad it can also be shown as anger. Jade is always angry because the she is masking the sadness with anger. If you watched the ep where there was appearance of jade's dad you can see jade is nervous and don't have good relationship with her dad so how she acted at school and home is totally different. And in some episodes jade is actually nice like despite the mean attitude she always show to people there is kindness to her too y'all just to understand human mind's more.

When I was a kid my parents fought a lot on screamed at my brother a lot (which I can also relate to have a sociopathic, manipulative, and abusive brother) so now whenever my parents fight or when they yell at my brother I end up having a mental breakdown and a panic attack. People over romanticize these two. Yeah they looked cute and funny at the surface but they were toxic in that they had issues that neither was willing to address. Their arguments didn’t just happen in this episode it brought to the forefront all the issues that were in their relationship for so long and it resulted in them hurting not only each other but also their friends (including poor cat who’s basically like their daughter). Y'all can't just Bash Jade like that because both Jade and Cat is suffering from psychological problems. Jade is depressed too. I love psychology and learning about it so as someone who study psychology I can say that Jade is depressed. And it have something to do with her attitude. Depression is not only being quiet and sad it can also be shown as anger. Jade is always angry because the she is masking the sadness with anger. If you watched the ep where there was appearance of jade's dad you can see jade is nervous and don't have good relationship with her dad so how she acted at school and home is totally different. And in some episodes jade is actually nice like despite the mean attitude she always show to people there is kindness to her too y'all just to understand human mind's more.

My memories for this ep is very very fuzzy but I wish for the cat scene they’d had made Jade and Beck both suddenly drop their fighting and be concerned over Cat. Like “oh my god, she fainted.” “She fainted, did we do that? We did that!” Frantic over her yknow, realizing that their fighting had caused one of their friends to faint. It would fit for jade too, since her edginess is sort of a played up thing right. So they bring her to the clinic or something, and after the nurse tells them that Cat had a panic attack and that she’d be fine, Beck and Jade kind of start another convo, starting slow. Beck says they’d have to talk about it sooner or later, but Jade storms off anyway (after knowing cat would be fine), with the “later” like the actual closet scene ended. Because man this scene just made me so angry watching it when I’m older lmao Cat full on had a panic attack and especially with what she said about being under the bed. And Jade grabbing her and telling her that they’re not done and they wanted to hear what she has to say about them. Definitely evoked bad memories for her :(
