FANTASTIC LYRICS! 😀 Beckah--have you ever heard Dan Vasc sing? He's Brazilian, and he is an awesome person, besides being a wonderful singer. When I hear him sing a lot of the power, strength, and victory songs, he sings, and how he uses metal songs to tell the story of God in different ways than others do, I often think of you singing "Awake" up in Valdez, Alaska (my brother Gary got to go along with you all on that shoot...he has never forgotten it). My youngest daughter and I have wondered if there would be a way for you and Dan to get together and sing one of your songs. He has some originals, also. You have different styles, and yet you both have the power and love of the Lord ever with you, and both of you have beautiful EFFECTIVE voices. On April 7, 2023, Dan kind of took the world by by storm, with his version of "Amazing Grace." I thought that maybe if you heard it, you might get to thinking about a way to see if he might sing "Awake" with him, but now I'm thinking that he'd LOVE this one, too. I don't have much genetic connection to Native Americans but Our entire family has been closely connected to Your culture through the Love for nature, wild animals, the Great Spirit & music. My Dad used to play tapes while taking me to school. My uncle is "The Wolfman" from the Velebit mountain. I've ridden horses & motorcycles and honoured the wind in my long dark hair since I can remember. This song beats the drums of our Hearts. We're both street pastors & Worship ministers today. The drum is the best instrument to dispel fog from our Spirit. Our youngest son, who wears his hair as long as You do - often sings Your songs everywhere We go. Thank You for creating such beauty.
