@@thisguyrighthere8502 nope , if anything he should be universally hated more on principle , hes not even remotely as good as people say he is , spent pretty much his whole 9 seasons at liverpool in the bottom 50% of the league in defensive stats , and isnt even close to the top attacking fullbacks in europe when you look at goals and assists per season , he only has 19 goals total , alex grimaldo got 12 goals in last season alone , theo hernandez has 31 goals in the same amount of time as trent's 19. he can take set pieces pretty well but hes certainly not the best in the league , and that and longballs are about all hes good at. hes nothing special when you actually look at his stats , but because hes had a few big game moments english media froths over him. comparing him to beckham is terrible , he had actual skill on the ball outside setpeice taking , could actually play in the middle of the park , dribble players and score from open play.

Trent’s won every trophy at club level by the age of 23 whilst breaking multiple assist records as a defender, being included multiple times in the UEFA TOTY, has 100+ G/A as a fullback(not a wingback) he has one bad season and it’s “oh he can’t defend” with people conveniently forgetting the other 6 seasons before that where he could defend and since that 1 bad season hasn’t put a foot wrong defensively. You have a blind agenda just parroting someone else before you. Must be boring not having an opinion of your own😒

@@thisguyrighthere8502 look the stats are very easy to look up mate , ( though maybe too difficult for most liverpool fanatics to manage ) , you can pull pretty much anything from the last 15 years. sorry to say that no matter how much you wank over him the simple fact is that if you actually take the time to look at his numbers , his average over his career puts him in the lower half of premier league defenders when you look at tackles won and aerial duels won , and when comparing to other good attacking fullbacks across europes top leagues he still has lower defensive stats then them , and lower attacking ones too , he wasnt even in the top 20 fullbacks last season . He isnt even that good a passer ( the one thing hes supposed to be good at ) , with a good , but far from amazing pass % . i never said hes not good , obviously he is , he plays for liverpool , but hes not this GOAT fullback people try to make him out to be.
