Xavier Smith Assistant coach is way easier to get than a head coach. I do not see any female becoming a head coach of any team before a 5 year span from now. That is the earliest. You already had females who became trainers and off court coaches for NBA teams. I already knew a female becoming an assistant coach would happen before 2016.

It's amazing! Me personally I'm not a San Antonio fan but as a basketball follower I respect their entire franchise, they are the only team that is always about winning. They create a family and while most coaches they have are tough, they get the job done and once the job is finished it's fun and games. Shame the Lakers and Knicks couldn't do the same.
