My little boys are 3.5 and 6 months so I like watching for ideas. I love the birthday crown idea. Beautiful choice of books.

Ahhhh! I read flotsam at the library years ago and I’ve been looking for it ever since but couldn’t remember the name. Thank you!!!

Sea Lights- even as an adult, that book is very inviting. Just seems like a good read💕

Love all the books! 4 is such a great age. 4 and 5 are my favorite because they’re old enough to do a lot more things but not too old to not want to if that makes sense. My daughter was always up for an adventure. Also, when she was 4 I’d print off several lines of her name dotted for her to trace over the letters with a pencil and practice writing it underneath. Rupert might like that as well.

Love the book selection - we are a big fan of The Knight that wouldn’t fight, such a great read.

Really lovely selection of thoughtful presents. 😊The crown is beautiful and I love the grimms celebration ring, we have one of these. Absolutely love all the books. My son is also a fan of the sea and we are hopefully moving to live by the sea this year (if all goes through ok)so he will love these even more. Definitely adding these to our wish list. 😊

I nanny a 6.5 year-old boy who has been obsessed with animals since I have known him ( 4.5 years old), more specifically dogs, with no sign of abating!

I don’t know if it is made anymore, but in the 90’s, there was a sweet book called Dear Greenpeace, about a little girl who thinks there is a whale in her pond, so she writes to Greenpeace to tell them about it and they reply, telling her not to put a whole tub of goldfish food/salt in the pond…

Just found your channel. So many great book recommendations-I love how much you love them! I’d be interested to hear more about your philosophy, it seems you are heavily influenced by Waldorf Ed but also occasionally mention Montessori aspects
