I used to be a van driver delivering and instsalling tvs and pcs i had to do 3 day runs up to Scotland every week from the West Mids. Every Monday i was on the M6. Used to set out at 4.30 am and was nearly always going past Glasgow st 8.30-9 cus i would just miss all the traffic hold ups. I hated the M6 aswell

Hi Becky, I know that journey well as I live in Garelochhead, about 50 miles west of Stirling and my kids live in Gloucester and Swindon so I do the A82, M8, M74, M6 and M5 slog a couple of times a year. It's a boring journey and I prefer the south to north journey as after Preston the traffic reduces considerably. Although coming from the London area, I have lived up here for 27 years. The Scots are generally very friendly and most are always ready for a chat. I prefer living up here and always dislike going down south (sorry southerners it's nothing personal). Love your videos.
