Good tip on locking cabinets, i noticed a lot of medical carts are like this, and sometimes see them for sale/surplus and thought about trying them for my workspace.. That green screen is awesome!

I wish I was so organised. I have a small space and it’s always a mess. I get as far as putting a few things in part drawers and labelling the drawers, but it in general it’s just stuff everywhere! Unfortunately, I’d rather be working on a project than working on my space organisation. I have to work on that. 🤔

I have followed you for a long time and always found you to be very good at what you do, I am now pleased to see you have removed the nose ring, and you look better for it, thanks for showing your workshop looks good.

I can't imagine working with such a constrained space. My hobbies consume 2+ rooms in the house, the entire garage and much of two other sheds. Fortunately I live in a small rural town.

I've got a full size bandsaw in the garage and while the larger cutting width is nice, I really don't see much of a reason to have something this big anymore. The blades for it cost an arm and a leg and I mostly use it to cut small stuff. Definitely not an item that is worth drooling over unless you really need it.

Thanks for sharing! But I /want/ to really need it... 😆

Great space! I'm planning to move to NYC next summer, and I have two of those rolling tool chests just like yours. I've pretty much accepted that I'll probably have to get rid of them though. How did you get yours up stairs? Or does your building have an elevator?
@BeckyStern2 жыл бұрын
I paid wayfair to bring it inside and remove the box. Movers will be able to handle them if they are empty!
@JasonWebb2 жыл бұрын
@@BeckyStern Sweet! I'll be sure to ask my movers then. To your point about unpredictable deliveries, when mine were delivered they were in boxes, stacked vertically on a wooden pallet, then left outside my apartment building without any notification haha. That was a fun day 🙃 Also side note, depending on where I end up I'm thinking of going with a Murphy bed setup with swinging shelves. That could open up more floor space and shelving for goodies. Maybe something similar could be used for a large work table instead of a bed - I know I've seen a couple people do that with Shapeoko CNCs!

7:35 As a Brit I found this shocking. Our waste collection is once every 3 weeks, but recycling is every week. We (a family of 4) generate about 1 bag of non-recyclable waste a week, with one child in nappies (which takes up most of that bag).

Do you live in a place big enough to store outside bins? No bins here, stinky kitchen trash goes directly from my bin to the curb. Bigger buildings will have a trash chute/compactor in the basement.

as a metric user my brain went "ah yes 200 square meters" and then "why is it so tiny" cos brain went meters not feet, took me way to long to work out what was wrong
@gregclare2 жыл бұрын
I was the same. When I saw the tittle, the first thing my mind went to is… how big is 200 square feet? Don’t know if I’m right, but I figured a square metre must be about 9 or 10 square feet? So maybe that’s a 20 square metre space? Maybe I’ll google it next. 😂
