Figuring out the 6 to 5 polygonal split and both axis is the most difficult thing. It has existed for many centuries of course, and quite well presented in the classic ball in football (soccer): hexagons and pentagons. Thus can be done with large pentagons and small triangles as well, the patterns will be different. This is next level! Possibly the most complicated pattern.

OK, finally got my earlier version (2015) to cooperate enough to finish this piece. My 2015 version had a couple of issues (it refused to delete & fill at 17:17, so I just used chamfer, and it looks ok). Anyway, the finished model looks great, so I'm a happy subscriber. :)

Great 👌 I have used fillets then delete because it's easy and quick instead of 3 separate chamfers But i really like the way you do it Cheers Happy Modelling 😊

while doing circular pattern, 20:50, I had space between each hexagonal pattern instance unlike yours what could've happened here, did it happen way at the beginning or do I have to toggle any settings in circular pattern?
@EasyCADSolutions Жыл бұрын
You need to make a new part from the beginning in a new part file with exact steps as shown in the video
@AKAI2002 Жыл бұрын
@@EasyCADSolutions it's spaced as if I need the line at 2:16 to be longer to adjust the angle even though I put 100mm as you did, but I'll try it from the start since it's fun XD thanks btw :)

Hello, I am working on each exercise that you propose and I am working in detail to understand how each process is carried out, however, when you make the correction to eliminate the faces in the last coating, I did not understand why this happens. At what point is the possible mistake made (time 13:57) of creating some surface that later leads us to the failure of not being able to do the coating, I really appreciate your kind time and explanation.
@EasyCADSolutions Жыл бұрын
Here i use the delete face tool with the delete and fill option because sometimes the loft surface fails to create the surface If the problem occurs then try to make the surface loft without delete and fill command

sir, I am not able to find the command of (OFFSET ON SURFACE) in Solidworks 2015. can you suggest me where to find it or any alternate method to do this command
@EasyCADSolutions3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but there is no such command in Solidworks 2015 because offset on surface command is introduced in SW 2017 or later versions But you can make three individual planes on the faces by selecting any 3points of the curved diamond faces, Then sketch on the plane and make offset sketch on that plane and then perform the surface trim and similarly do it on other two faces Hope it will help you Happy Modelling 😊
