So, I'm an academic researcher and all I have to say is WOW! Thank you for showing tis tool - I am going to try this ASAP for my qualitative research projects! There is so much overlap between customer research and academic research, just a slightly different vocabulary - yet, I haven't heard mention of this tool on the academic side! Thank you!

So most companies where I’m at (bay area) are extending WFH until 2021 and I’m getting close to finishing my portfolio and applying to jobs. I’m really worried about how difficult things will be now.

Yeah, it's a bit expensive, but it seems really great for larger teams. Our team uses a free tool called Shipright(.co). It also has a database for insights, but comes with a browser extension for highlighting in different tools. I use Dropbox Paper for my notes and their extension to store insights.

@@femkedesign That seems like a really shortsighted strategy. Freelancers are great at evangelising tools they love. Also... freelancers don't always stay freelancers.

I've been trying out Dovetail and tried to replicate it's features in Notion, but Dovetail automatically groups all your tags together from the data and also pulls them into highlights and insights. Which is difficult to do Notion, atleast not automatically.
