Yes!!! Another Ca-Bebe is joining the ranks!!! 🤗 It always makes me think of when JooHoney (❤️🐝❤️) said that MX totally knows that Monbebes are always popping over to Seventeen, and be like, 😍 "Heyyy... so, I'm Monbebe from next door..." 🤭😂🤣 Yes, their overall image and title tracks were pretty much mainly Fresh-Teen and very youthful & bright, until about Don't Wanna Cry era, where they started showing a more mature side, and then finally Dark-Teen emerged around Dec. 2018 with Getting Closer. But, the nice thing is that all of it was soooo organic and always felt completely genuine, because you really feel like you are growing up through the different stages of life with them, rather than just watching a group putting on concepts like outfits that don't really even fit them, just because that is what is trendy at the moment. Seventeen is always completely true to themselves at their core, and so it always comes across authentically like that. They can play with every genre, but it still always sounds distinctively like Seventeen. Definitely, the "Super Long Seventeen Guide 2023" by caratline17 (in 4 parts, intro + the 3 units) is the one to go for!!! It is pretty unanimously THE definitive guide that all Carats have been recommending up till now. I know it seems a little long, but it's really entertaining, completely worth it, and honestly, there's no way you can really learn much on less time than that, because there is just so much info. & a lot of members to cover! 😉 Welcome to the Diamond Life!!! highly highly highly recommend watching the dance practice for each mv after you watch the mv. Watching their synchronization, chemistry and personalities within the dance practices are honestly what takes the song listening experience to another level.

freshteen was absolutely a thing they were known for early on!! but you're right, in recent years they don't tend to stick to one concept. the way i usually think of it is 2015-2016=freshteen era, 2017-2019=EDM era, 2020-present=free for all, they've done all kinds of concepts lol as someone who stanned them in 2017 honestly i still most commonly associate them with fresh concepts, thats really what "seventeen" is to me. but that being said they can honestly pull off any concept really well!

And i recommend u to watch SEVENTEEN KILLING VOICE. So u can heard snip it of their discography (svt is known for their variety genre actually they done all genre music and concept so if u want certain genre i swear svt have done that😅) and ofc in killing voice they're show u their singing live ability. And u can see a little bit of their personality, their bond for each other, just pure having fun..u can see they're love this job😂❣️

When learning the members names, I did find it easier to learn by sub unit. > Hip Hop Team - Scoups (leader of unit and full group, leader vibes until he becomes sulking baby, dad of the group), Wonwoo (glasses, deeper voice, shy, unexpected humor, cat that loves cats), Mingyu (tall, lisp, large clumsy puppy, kindest boy), Vernon (half American, funny reactions, his stance, independent introvert) > Performance Team - Hoshi (Leader, part choreographer for group, is a Tiger (Horanghae), introvert but one of the craziest/loudest members), Jun (Chinese member, introvert but quirky, cat that loves cats, duality...), The8/Minghao (talented elegant dancer, meditation, painter, quiet side eyes, can get triggered by members and rage), Dino (maknae, Future of Kpop, Danceology, more extroverted and comedic) > Vocal Team - Woozi (Leader & group producer (writing/composing), introvert, tiny strong man, has cute side despite first impressions, does background adlibs, plays many instruments), Jeonghan (angel/devil/trickster, beautiful and gorgeous, a gremlin, soft voice, mom of group, group counselor), Joshua (American, Sunday Morning, "most normal", soft voice), DK/Dokyeom (bold clear voice, high notes & background adlibs, sunshine & pure, introvert but one of the craziest/loudest members, just a god damn delight), Seungkwan (powerful vocals, high notes & background adlibs, entertainer, comedian and SVT promoter, aka. Variety Show King, also an angel with great facial expressions). > Many non Hip Hop Team members can rap and every member is a brilliant singer and dancer. > The on and off stage duality for every member in this group is insane. > High notes and adlibs are probably DK or Seungkwan, but sometimes Woozi. > also 2 other official units, BSS/BooSeokSoon - gag trio, turned official chart topping group, DK (leader), Hoshi, Seungkwan. Other unit is SVT Leaders - leaders of the 3 Teams, (Scoups, Hoshi, Woozi) > Don't stress about picking a bias... it will change daily, genuinely, just focus on loving them all lol.

It was probably DK going off in Mansae. I love Pretty U> You are right, it was Joshua who made the precious mistake they kept in the choreo. They are still boys doing boy stuff. In Aug & Sept 2016 SVT 'got kidnapped and vacationed in Australia.' I'm sure it was a well-earned and much-needed vacation. Don't Wanna Cry is most famous for the choreo. I think they filmed it in CA Don't feel bad about not knowing their names. You did well and we have all been there. It's a process. Are the songs being skipped thru on purpose? It's a bit jarring. How about you limit it to 2 or 3 songs and react to the dance practices also? No need to hurry. Enjoy the experience. Of course it's up to you. I think why old kpop mv doesn't have caption was because Kpop isn't that popular internationaly that time, and they're just debut so i think they're more focusing on gaining the Knetz attention first

Also copyright/editing tip for the songs/mvs. Put some kind of overlay over the video you show (snow/moving images, transparent ver. of profile pic), and you can either pitch the audio slightly off and/or speed up your recording so it is harder to detect as copyright.
