Hey Matt i have questions.... Does the water for the plants make a differents in farming? Do you use organic fertilizer for your plants? I want to start my own garden but the water here in Edgewood is hard water alot of calcium does calcium effect the vegetables?

Hi, I am looking to buy a small farm within the next years or so. It would be a first for me and it's something I've been wanting to do for years now. I also have a full-time job and I'm trying to fit this in and eventually quit my job and devote my time to farming and my art. I'm an artist too. I live in a big city and there is a 5 acre farm for rent, not to far from work, that I'm interested in moving into. What advice do you have for a 9 to 5 city slicker looking to start in farming? Thanx
