👏I APPRECIATE your MetaAwareness"👏 For me, sadness is result of actual toxic society. All unhappy people. I wonder...if WE had people celebrating, and helping US grow... would that provide RELIEF? Growth. Encouragement. MUSIC makes sense, it clears out the thoughts of toxic society. Also, sweets makes sense...it gives short term RELIEF. When the MUSIC STOPS, and SUGAR wears off...we are back in a loveless, heartless, thoughtless society. This phase is reasonable and natural, when we realize... powerlessness. But why ... cynicism...need to try to help the next generation. 😊 Also, for me the church stole my family...into illusion. MISSION: learn from pain. Pain into purpose. ❤😊❤

Believe it or not, I think you are actually happy. The problem is that without struggle you can't see the happiness. It's like when you are in a dark room, you are happy when you see the light. But if you are in a room with nothing but light and it will have light forever regardless of what you do, then the light loses meaning, because there is no struggle for it. No matter what you do there will be light. It just "appears" that you do not feel "happy" because now you have everything you "need," and when you have everything you need, you get bored. And you don't do well with boredom. So it's not unhappiness, it's just a whole lot of boredom. I would suggest you hold on to the fact that you are a very creative person. The *point* of creation is to express. So your point is to be the most you that you can possibly be and express the most you that you can possibly express. Your motivation comes from self-discovery. You don't know everything about you yet. You don't know all the impact you can have on others yet. You still have work to do. You still have a job. It's just that the work is you. Go inward, because the boredom is not about distracting yourself with external "stuff." You will still be bored. You have to find your passion in self-discovery, creativity and authenticity again. There is something beyond this. You just don't know what it is yet. Happy searching! Of course, I'm just a random person on the internet... so grain of salt and whatnot...

I subscribed a couple of years ago because of your 505 tutorials and looping sessions. You hardly do those anymore. I think it's been a year since you uploaded anything music related. It's also been about that long you seem to not feel great mentally. I know it's probably a chicken-egg thing, but I can only notice a proportional correlation between those things and point it out. Making music is cheaper than therapy. And even if it doesn't work, at least you had fun while doing it and weren't getting lost in your own thought loops, pun not intended. And I realize the hard part is feeling like having enough energy to even get started, but still. And about the nihilistic outcome vs journey thing, personally I think you've got it reversed: for all intents and purposes, there is only the journey. The journey is everything and it's the outcome that doesn't matter, because the outcome is the same for everyone. But we're all on this journey together and cross paths constantly, so it very much does matter to not be an asshole to each other.

Also, there is no "meaning of life" , there is no "true purpose", so stop obsessing about it. It's an exercise in futility that only leads to frustration. And ironically, completely surrendering to the idea that there is no meaning to it all is extremely liberating and makes anything become possible again. Even creating meaning, or rather, purpose, for yourself. This is all my personal opinion off course, I'm not claiming to hold 'The Truth', just to be clear. But I struggled with the same things a long time ago and internalizing the lack of meaning and truly, really, viscerally experiencing the absurdity helped me get over it. Embrace it, even. There is no point to it all. And that's completely fine. As it should be.
