Do they modify the throttle pedal on their manual cars? From the factory these cars are REALLY had to do toe-heel downshifting! I built mine up a bit from the floor by stacking about 3/8" of fender washers under each mount bolt, then I screwed two aluminum pedal covers together, to bring the bedal about 1/2" closer in height to the brake pedal. And the top pedal has an extension on the side, which helps. It's still not enough. The pedal needs to come not only up, but over as well. I'm going to maybe try to make an adapter plate to go under the throttle assembly...

Oh i just had an crazy cool idea.... If it's not their next car, Radford should totally team up with Dodge and do a Radford Hellcat 😍

It's funny how no one considered that the gtr is a boat too when both challenger and r35 gtr are around 4000lbs gross weight. When the only difference is engine and drivetrain.

Gtr is about 3800, Challenger scat widebody is about 4300.

@@scottcolpitts8521 gross weight isn't the same as dry weight the r35 gtr gross weight is 4700lbs the challenger is 5000lbs at least fully loaded meaning liquids

@@tiersofemotion222 gross weight is curb weight plus passengers and cargo. Aka max safe loaded limit. No one cares what cars weight with ppl in them. Full fluids and tank of fuel plus the weight of a vehicle alone is what people care about.

@@scottcolpitts8521 ah okay, that would be considered as curb weight my mistake 3800lb and 4300lb would be more acute based on the weight of the car and fluids. 👍 it's not the full load meaning passengers included gotcha.

@tiersofemotion222 no worries. Ppl were up in arms when the r35 came out at 3800. That was almost unheard of back in 2008. Now mustangs are almost 4000, and a lot of M bmws are almost 4000. It's crazy

A lot of people do street racing in traffic in these, and they've become almost synonymous with street takeovers.
