Awww Blakeley's laugh is sooo adorable 🥰 by the way, she is still young enough to have her "binky" , please don't make an issue of it, I am a 72 year old grandma and my son (now 50) used a pacifier until age 23 months old,we didn't acknowledge it in anyway and all on his own,he just quietly stopped using it BUT he would carry it ina pocket at times,as if he just needed the comfort of knowing it was in his presence , he wouldn't put it in his mouth ,just carried it. I think sometimes young parents listen to others who try to tell them when to take away a binky or a favorite blanket but they,the adults are themselves hooked on having Starbucks coffee every day and brag about needing that daily "coffee fix", well a child's source of comfort should also be respected, a child who is getting used to a new sibling may resort to wanting a binky or blanket (like women after a breakup eating a pint of ice cream or men grabbing a six-pack with their buddies)! I can pretty much bet that if you don't make a big deal out of the pacifier as Blakely gets more feelings of security about a new sibling, she'll toss out that binky! After all , you know they give it up by the they are around other kids because they don't want to look like babies 🥰
