I am in that phase of non-fiction books these days and really wanted someone to tell their opinion of this one, felt lazy to read long reviews :P I'm gonna read this now. I read recently Marie Kondo's life changing magic of tidying up and Good bye, things by Fumio Sasaki. These books really got me all charged up to minimize. Infact I am half way in the process already. If you've not read these, I highly recommend, and yes, looking forward very much to read Becoming after watching this review of yours :)

Glad you found my review useful :) Have been hearing so much about Marie Kondo specially her 30 books advice haha. I guess minimizing is not a bad idea but being a book hoader myself I disagree with her 30 books advice but to each their own i guess. I will surely try Good bye, things. Thanks :)

Saumya I didnt hear about this 30 book advice. What I grasped from these two books was this beautiful concept - surround yourself with only the things you love and discard rest, now those things can be few in number for some and more for others. When we end up hoarding also the stuff which we dont much care about, the stuff that actually matters doesnt get much attention and as a result doesn't give us much joy either. Also we get overstimulated. Trust me I was scoffing a year ago about the idea of becoming a minimalist :D (I still don't have any intention to go to that limit) , but the ideas and concepts in these two books really are making sense.

I do like the idea of decluttering. But it's just that some objects might not necessarily spark joy but one has memories attached to them. Anyway, I guess I will have to check these books out and see how I like them :)

hey i like your videos so much, have you ever got pirated book from Amazon and is it safe to buy books from Amazon. how spot a pirated book because many books on Amazon are cheaper compared to book stores. please reply.

Thanks. No I haven't received any pirated books from amazon. It's mostly okay to buy from Amazon and if you don't like the product you can always return it and get a refund. Pirated books generally have very thin pages and look like photocopies sometimes. Words are missing sometimes.

I completed reading 300 pages..120 pages left..im totally loving this book.Michelle obama's honest narration of her life and her attitude towards life is truely motivating and inspiring.. .I'm happy that I started this year with becoming..☺which is also my very 1st non fiction of 2019..
