Columbia looks beautiful. So good to see a positive side to a country that has had so much sad news over the years.

May I clarify your statement about Simon Bolivar: After liberating many South American countries from Spain's dominance, he died en Santa Marta; his remains rest in the Panteón Nacional in the city of Caracas, Venezuela, his native country and where the independence confrontations started. I am greatly appreciative of your KZbin channel; it nourishes me with knowledge if distant and diverse cultures and feeds my passion for sailing and its requirements. Thank you

Really liked what you shared with us this morning. Funny thing, I was saying to my wife how it would be so nice to have plenty of fresh fruit to make a smoothie while living on the boat. And then you 2 delight us with smoothies, inexpensive dinners, tacos and beach bars... you help to keep our own dream alive 😎 It was really nice to share your shore excursions with us. We want to go there now! Thank you!

Your music choices are excellent as are the situations mix and volume. Some of places you two are filming have been covered by others that came before but I've notice that I learn and enjoy more from your experiences. I'm repeatedly amazed by how well you both can express yourself in English, when that isn't your native language....it is impressive, at least to me. Thank you again.....

And through it all your personalities have stayed true. Your videos keep getting better and better. And your relationship is sweet too. Safe sailing.

Guys - Tony's place clearly rocks, and Johan declare it "the best food I have had in months" DO put a quick plug for the place with a name and location on the screen during these visits :-) BTW.. around 13:40 ish, moving past a lot of buildings while driving, the buildings tend to stutter a bit, kinda jump, thats the shutter speed being high in the sun, typically in cinematography the golden rule is dialing the shutter speed down to twice the frame rate, that will make objects thats moving fast in the front blur slightly, and they will blend better and feel less jumpy as they pass the screen. :-) (not that you asked ha ha)

Your pronunciation of the Spanish language is impecable; now that you guys tried out a catamaran for ten days, you think you'll ever trade? And if I'm ever lucky enough to have a boat and am in need of some one to stay and watch over it; i now know I'd be you guys that's for sure!!!

Wow. That church looked huge! That street are is awesome. Some people are so talented. I can barely draw a stick figure. We love the wall as well in that tea place. Very creative. We get a lot of debris up here in the sound. We have to pay a lot of attention while sailing.

Matt, I think you've got RAN-elos-abonde-itis. General pattern is acute onset of adoption of nautical terminology, lack of concentration and lethargy when it comes to domestic and/or occupational matters and in severe cases, growing a beard or man-bun. It's ultimately harmless, physically, but can be expensive to cure, most effectively through acquisition of a boat. It can sometimes expose relationship incompatibilities, so watch out for that. However, there's growing anecdotal evidence that resolution of the affliction often manifests in buying a new boat with a new partner. :-)

What steps did you take to secure your boat while gone? Close all seacocks, find a buddy to keep an eye on it? Is it docked or moored? Do you have a way of knowing if your bilge is cycling, etc?

I like the speeded up scenes, at the beginning it was a little too slow moving- of course it illustrates how slow life is for you, but the museum, the streets , the church felt too boring; not the photos of the artifacts though, that was cool. The scene in the bar was too slow.the bus station and trip : too slow ( or too long- could have been edited tighter) just a little bit tighter : I don’t like too short “jump cuts” either, and there is something to be said for experiencing real-time either... so it has to be a balance and some of the locales are just not that interesting or pretty. I would have liked to see a more detailed view of that beautiful catamaran.
