The curtain rings allow you to see the beautiful curtain rod and gives them a more elegant look. I love the sneak peeks, but I am waiting for the full reveal! I am sure it will be gorgeous! I would also need to see the sconces in the living room as a whole, but the sconces themselves looked nice.

I love the sconces with their simple lines. It's a beautiful balance having them situated between the gold ornate mirror and the ornate picture frames. Not overdone and the sconces aren't competing with the other decor on the walls.. Good eye and well done!

I love everything you showed us, I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the total reveal. I really like the sconces, but the true test is wether you like them. You have such a lovely way of decorating, sometimes you just take the interesting way around (rug), but you picked the perfect one. Sarah, don’t you hate when you iron something wide like curtains and your ironing board shape makes it difficult to iron it all evenly? Sometimes I have to work all day decorating an area and then sleep and look at again after coffee with fresh eyes, instead of tired eyes at the end of the day. Everything is going to be AMAZING because you have such a good eye for this style! I am loving every sneak peek!❤️

I like the sconces. I think they are simple in design and will not stick out like a sore thumb. The gold gives them the sparkle they need. If you got ornate ones, I think it would be over whelming. The lamps are the lead here. So they do not outshine the lamps. Good job. Cannot hardly wait for you to show us the FINISHED room. Excited. Looks great so far. Nice of your sister to come paint your base boards.

What absolutely lucky girl you are to have a beautiful Sister who will help you out like this. I have a Sister that put baseboards in for me and another who cooks and many times sends food here for us. My other Sister helps in different ways. But it lightens the load on us all when we help each other. I love your new sconces. They are so pretty. Especially for a cottage style. Makes me think old world. We live the the side of the mountain here (in the Desert) and I’ve actually had a mountain lion in my backyard. I was sitting outside in the evening when I saw her. Hi Sarah ! I see on your bookcase the book “Sense and Sensibility “ 💗💗 What we can see of the living room so far….it is amazing ! I love those curtains. Did you say they came from Amazon? I have some similar to those that look like linen and want them for my kitchen, but JC Penny stopped carrying them. And I love the rings on them…good choice. From what we saw of the scones, they are pretty! Not overpowering and love that they are a double lights. Very cottage looking ! How scary to have that BIG CAT around ! I worry about little people !! Thanks for the sneak peek so far. The sconces are simple, classy and pretty. I would need to see them with everything else in place/perspective to give my honest opinion. The curtains look 100% better with the curtain rings ; they elevate the look. It is a process isn't it? Sometimes the things we think will look good, don't and vise versa.
