Thank you so much for addressing each of these truths. I feel like quite often they are skirted around in order to not offend. I appreciate this address so much.

The biblical definition of peculiar is deeply significant to me because of its connection to economics :) In markets, the value of a good is not inherent to the good itself, but relies on a buyer’s willingness to pay. Stamp collectors are an example of this-a stamp which was simple to manufacture and originally sold for pennies becomes valuable if collectors are willing to pay large amounts for it. We are weak, imperfect people, and it may seem like we are not worth much. But our value is determined by Christ, who was willing to pay an infinite price to save us. Each person on earth is of infinite value to Him.

I love and appreciate your talk of becoming a peculiar people. Thank your. I am willing and I have strived for years, failing many times, repenting daily. I have improved over the years, though I still find myself lacking. But I am grateful for God the Father and my Savior Jesus Christ for their love and mercy. I am most grateful for their forgiveness.💜🙏💜

❤ I wish I understood how important marriage was 10 years ago! Im so happy to be with my husband and eternal companion now. I'm sad for the years I wasted "dating around" Great talk and great life lessons! The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and joyful!

We should always try to be a unique treasure to God! It's a great thing to be different in a world which is very confused about our true identity. We are literal children of a loving God! We aren't junk, but rather are broken beings that we can allow God to fix spiritually, and eventually temporally. When we are resurrected, we will be fixed temporally as well.

Didn't love the clip at the beginning that makes it difficult to skip forward to where the talk actually begins. Perhaps add some music or a chapter mark to make it easier to differentiate.
