There isnt any band, hasn’t been another band nor will there ever be another band even remotely in their sphere. They would still be the greatest band of all time even if you eliminate 50 percent of their catalog. Thats how astounding they are. It’s not just their music, it’s how they played it.

Imagine all of the awesome video that Jimmy, Robert, Jonesy and the Bonham Family has ! I'm not talking concert footage, altho I'd LOVE to see the PRO Shot Bath Footage again, and some others, but, imagine all of the footage from the band in "this" city or "that" city, or in "this" or "that" studio. I wonder how much they have. I'd really like for Robert to lighten up on how critical he is of his singing --that's why they never released any concerts for their 50th Anniversary. Remember? Jimmy was saying I believe it was like 2 shows right off the bat and then 1 or 2 every year. It didn't happen because "they" (Robert) couldn't agree on any of the shows. He's so critical of his singing he never Professionally released ANY Solo shows from the 1980's, no Official Page / Plant shows either. I love the guy but come on, Robert. Not one fan will be 1% as critical as you are on any note you sing at any concert --they're just thankful to listen (if it's an audio) and watch (if it's a video) because we are fans. The music takes us places. I have Hemophilia and if I could, I'd listen / watch / relish / cherish EVERYTHING they have because Plants singing takes me far, far removed from the pain, as does Jimmy's guitar, Jonesy's Mellotron, Bass, Mandolin, etc. and Bonzo's drumming.

I did. I saw them at Berkeley Community Theater in 1971. Second row. I was 14. It changed my life. I'm not joking. It was absolutely astonishing. There was no opening act, they just put down the lights and suddenly opened up with the Immigrant Song. That night was the first night I heard The Stairway to Heaven. I was so completely obsessed with them that I borrowed money from my jackass brother who actually charged loan shark type interest rates just so I could go the next night. One of the truly great experiences of my entire lifetime
