What I personally do is an "Oops All Carnifex" list with a minor change - the pair that Old One-Eye leads both have Venom Cannons, and I keep a walking Tyrant near them with either a Stranglethorn or another Venom Cannon for the ranged buff that he gives out; 3 Screamers AND 3 Flyrants w/scything talons for 4 extra attacks in melee, with the remainin points being gaints for holding objectives

My usual playgroup started doing bi-weekly five player mirror matches with the rule that you can't have the same composition type as the other players; since it's a free for all and everyone else went genestealer heavy, warriors w/ swarmlord, gunline, or psychic bugs - I got left with (in my opinion) the best options to choose from: One-Eye as warlord leading a pair of venom cannon carnifexes, two pairs of quad scythe carnifexes, three screamers, three flyrants for deepstrike melee blenders, and a single walking tyrant to give an additional buff to the shooty carnifexes. The points that we agreed on was 2200, and I'm sitting at 2110 with the above list. So I decided to throw in three squads of termagaunts for objective holding and screening

The Winged Hive Tyrant actually got really interesting for me. I usually take the foot tyrant with some Tyrant Guard and make sure he trades something for his points. But the main reason i take him is because of the Stratagem acsess he gives me. The Swarmlord, as cool as he is, doesn´t do enough for me. With him you get your guaranteed 3 CP every round. But with the Hive Tyrant your cap is basically 5. So in the future when i really just want his CP ability, i think i just go with the winged version and hide him in the middle somewhere. I wish they would buff the Swarmlord, make him 340 maybe remove the Lord CP increase ability, and give him a Primarch tripple split aura. Like rerolling 1´s to hit and wound, plus 2 to the charge and idk, increase the OC by 1. And his Synapse should be 12 for sure. Also, thanks for the shoutout. ^^

@@Dewoy1 Thanks for the catalyst to the idea! Yeah, that's my hope for Swarmy as well. He is the closest thing we have to a Primarch and it is odd that he is so bland in comparison. Hell, even looking towards an Avatar of Khaine there is a unique bite. I was surprised there is no ability to stand back up like Celestine or an Abominant.

My flying Hive Tyrant was the first of the three variants of the Tyrants that I built. It is a kitbash combination of an old relic bonesword from ages past and a personally made up legendary lash whip to go with a massive head crest behind its normal head. The walking Hive Tyrant is next, but Swarm Lord...I want to completely kitbash him to be larger than his normal self or his twin offshoots. 🤘 Great video, my friend, subscribed and love from Hive Fleet Palaiós.

But sometimes, you can find good and genuine offers, even if you use someone else's old hive to create new biomass for your own fleet, it is a win in my book. I am sure that you have your own hive fleet with it's own backstory. 🤘

I am not saying I am going to do this, but I am not saying I am not seriously considering it either, but I were; vanguard, 3x flyrants, 3x broodlords, 2x winged primes, Neurotyrant, death leaper, 30 stealers, 12 warriors, and a biovore for good measure.

@@miztahmonstur I know this sounds crazy but I am going to math it, a 3 stack of paroxysm looks like a higher damage mitigation technique than damage reduction, but it only works in close combat. So you use a single tyrant as bait and when it gets charged by a Death Star you triple stack paroxysm and it tanks the lot. Because you can 18 lone op the bait flyrant it has to be charged. Or the 3 of them charge something you don’t like and at least one swings first, and then between the paroxysm and the casualties they take, it can’t kill a single tyrant on the clap back

It would work with 3 flyrant and a norn emissary too, the flyrants debuff the thing that’s sent after the norn, making sure it’s unkillable in melee

I don't see how chaplains or librarians can be a class. Both are far more incrediblely rare ranks in the space marine army than the current range of classes we have. Also bladeguard virtually serve the same roll as a chaplain already. Space marine Librarians would be kind of ridiculous as a class with how comparatively strong they are compared to something like an intercessor/hellblaster (Tactical). We've seen Thousand Sons terminators and they were pretty crappy considering what they are wearing terminator armour so it's not impossible that they could be a class if we go by the gameplay strength we've been shown of terminators si far.
