Ive fished just like you all my life. I'm 72. I grew up in North Florida near Lake City. My dad grew up in the Osceola forest. He knew every deep hidden fishing hole there was. We didn't have much, fishing was essential to save. I remember, it was spring. The water was up just a little bit. We caught 140 pike & jacks that morning. All over a foot long. We would take the frog moss out with a tater rake. Get the crawdads for bate. We would catch pike on a piece of red flannel too. No hook.

At 65 years old, I hail from the Charleston area in SC. Fishing has been my passion since childhood. Whether it's saltwater or freshwater, from the bank, dock, boat, or kayak, I'm in. Yet, freshwater bank fishing stands out as the most serene and straightforward method for me. There's something special about watching that float or bobber disappear under the water!

Nothing like fishing! I took my kids alot when they were growing up. 3 young kids starting out fishing I didn't get to fish much because I was always getting their hooks and lines out of the 🎄. Lol. Their in their 30s now and always remind me of how much fun they had fishing. They have kids now ( My Grandkids) and they as well as me take them fishing. I think their favorite part was going to the store and getting chips with drinks to have while we're fishing. The chips and drinks didn't last long but the memories are for a lifetime.

I've been fishing since 1963. Some people think that it's the structure of the pillars that attract the fish. My grandfather, who took the time to teach me how to fish, who to this day taught me what Patience is all about also taught me that the vibration and frequency going down through those pillars Is whats truly attracting the fish to these areas. Fishing under these bridges is golden no matter what. First time viewer, I'll be back.

The frequency going down through the pillars Is what attracts the fish, that's good information. Now you got my curiosity flowing. Thank you so much for sharing and thanks for watching stay tuned much more great content on the way.

I fish under bridges alll the time here in south in my boat. And it’s amazing how many vehicles have nails in the tires.
@roselsimpson8582 ай бұрын
Do you hear the nails against the asphalt or do nails fall from the bridge?
@AltonMiller232 ай бұрын
I enjoyed the video, it looked like you had a good time. The sound of the highway reminded me of a thunderstorm.

Thank you. I had a really good time. I love seeing that sinker go down. The bridge is loud, but I kinda like it. Thank you so much for watching. Stay tuned more good content on the way.

I don’t mind the noise at all bro like you said that’s almost soothing😂😂😂 just being out fishing is a win for me
@roselsimpson858Ай бұрын
Exactly, once I start catching fish I don't hear the noise anyway.
@TheQuidditchfan2 ай бұрын
Good video, I don't worry about the noise of those bridges, I just like to fish. I'm nextdoor in South Mississippi, and it's getting harder to find good spots to fish with all the development going on. Keep up the good vids brother and keep enjoying the fishing. Just remember if you don't catch anything, you don't have to clean it 😂
@roselsimpson8582 ай бұрын
If you don't catch anything, you don't have to clean it I love it lol. I told my wife I never thought I would catch and release but when you have plenty in the freezer and you've been cleaning all week, throw them back. So far I have no shortage of fishing spots here in South Louisiana. Thank you for your comment and thanks for watching stay tuned more good stuff on the way.

Tip: Get you a Zebco spincast reel and get your casts on out there - you will catch more. Gorgeous spot!!!
@roselsimpson8582 ай бұрын
I have an older spincast I will have to pull it out of retirement and give it a test run. I'll probably wide up buying a new one. Thanks for sharing stay tuned for an update coming soon.

@@roselsimpson858 Man, I'm telling you, A Zebco 33 platinum ($29 at Walmart with metal gears) and that weighted bobber and you'll be casting out there to those concrete piers and you'll catch a ton more fish and be able to place your casts a lot more accurately - with practice.

Fishing under bridges are some of my favorite spots to catch fish. A box of worms and a fishing pole and a bucket is all you need to have a relaxing fun time. You never know what you will catch under a bridge
@roselsimpson8582 ай бұрын
Couldn't agree more! So many people commented "They wish they could or they used to fish" A cheap bucket, inexpensive rod and reel and a box of worms and you are in there. #GoFish Thank you for sharing stay tuned more great stuff on the way.
