i m working on my traveler atm. i think as a f2p he really deserves more love. maybe not as an endgoal abyss team but as a fix to keep you afloat for a while every time new regions and stuff like that hits. Heres the thing: he is almost free to level up. you get all his materials and constellations for free. no resin spend whatsoever. this in returns means: it opens up your resin to be used on other characters. So in the end, you ll getting 2 characters for the resin cost of one. wich value wise is nuts. other characters might require weeks of farming all sorts of things and traveler gives you like lvl 90 4x c6 for free... why would anyone NOT level him up simply because of resin value and then you keep traveler in your roster as a ''good enough'' option until you get to the point you have something better. And when the next region comes out, you allready get a new free character from the get go because he is allready leveled up and you can do the same thing over again.

The constellations are almost necessary to make traveler usable (except in the case of dendro cause dendro is just broken). Traveler is for sure a good character, but aside from dendro, it isn't necessarily worth the investment.

I initially wanted to, but after doing damage calcs, traveler's burst + skill just out damages typical physical builds. Another thing is that I don't have aqulia, so it would be really difficult to outdo the benefits of mistsplitter with a physical dps sword.

I really like using Geo Traveler in my mono Geo teams, really good sustain damage and battery for Noelle and Itto, and the Burst dmg and crit field after are nice too.

Ah yes, a fellow Tighnari theme enjoyer. Anemo MC works well with Chongyun, Kazuha and Diona if you build her around Cryo dmg, Kazuha replacable by Shenhe. If your character is able to deal a lot of dmg through normal attacks or skills that lasts a long time, it becomes a lot more consistent. For geo, I'm waiting until I can get C6 Bennett, and then I'm building a pyro-geo traveler team consisting of Ningguang, Kazuha/Yelan and Bennett. She can also work in a nuke team but it'd be a little incosistent. For electro, my idea is physical traveler because her elemental burst has a pretty good electro application, but there is really no source of consistently high electro dmg, and electro allows for superconduct. The team consist of Rosaria, Fischl (I don't have Raiden, but Raiden is probably better), and Diona/Layla/Zhongli. Dendro traveler doesn't have a consistent source on field elemental damage, and the only elemental infusions that synergize with Dendro are Hydro and Pyro. If we wanted to maximize the traveler's personal damage, we need quicken. Sure, we can use vaporize and melt for the Hydro and Pyro infused travelers, but that's boring. The best thing would be to have a character that would provide dendro infusions and slap on two more electro characters and boom you've got yourself a spread dps.

Well done! Question: Ever thought about running Gilded dreams for Anemo, Electro, and Dendro MC? It's the set I'm farming so that I can have builds for Lumine across every element except Geo, without needing to change it for the remaining regions! I want to revisit my Anemo MC one day, but Dendro MC has been such a staple in my teams that I haven't been able to go back to her for quite a bit. TvT

I found it really interesting how you used Razor for your EMC party, C4 gives you defense shred on elemental skill, Sac greatsword gives you another use of his skill + extra particles and 4-pc NO artefact let's you use his burst to buff & apply Electro aura in an AoE, before swirling with Kazuha. I question how effective this would be in normal play but I love seeing stuff like this done.

I strive to have Lumi as powerful as this. I'm halfway thru completely crowning her, just anemo and electro left. I currently have her on Black Sword R1, but wondering if I should try to pull for a 5* sword, like Haran or maybe Skyward Blade.

Black Sword is good enough for decent damage. If you want to get higher traveler damage, Jade Cutter and Mistsplitter are currently the best options. Mistsplitter is less flexible due to the stacking requirements and low crit damage but has a higher damage ceiling than Jade Cutter. I wouldn't say Haran is a great choice due to the majority of traveler's damage coming from skills and bursts. Skyward Blade isn't too bad as it gives a large amount of ER, allowing you to get bursts right off cooldown.

I should have specified by what I meant by doesn't work, dmc's passive didn't work with sucrose em share at the time (I don't know if it is still the case or if this was patched in some manner). The em still buffs spread damage for sure, it just didn't apply to the a4 passive on dmc as well.

as an anemo mc main on my second account :( bro I am offended (I am kidding lol but I will continue to main anemo mc) if you combine anemo mc with a really good pyro like yanfei or amber plus a good electro like beidou etc. you have a pretty good team, add a shielder like Noelle or zhongli and boom. Unstoppable. I prefer amber as she can distract enemies so I can step out of battle and fire from far away
