I'm going to put this in a pinned comment and hope the right people see it. Yes! I have started Hogwarts Legacy 3 times now. Once when the game was released and I was super bored after my surgery, and the second time was for Twitch because I thought I wanted to stream this game. The furthest I've made it in either playthrough is to the Room of Requirement. So yes, if you have the sinking suspicion that I've played the opening sequence before, it's because I have, and I say that at the beginning of this video and several times over.

1:30:00: Nonverbal magic is taught at Hogwarts, but only at 6th year because of the difficulty in doing do. The wand is a European invention, so students at Uagadou are likely taught some method of casting spells that the most people in Great Britain aren't aware of. Some have used magic without their wands here and there, but its supposedly not as necessary for magical folk in Africa.

We've got the BEST common room hands down. My second fave is the Hufflepuff common room because I like that it reminds me of Bag End from Lord of the Rings.

actually Ominis should be somewhere around the grandfather area for Voldemort. Marvolo was born in 1890 so Ominus is either a big brother or Cousin to him

Considering what I've seen looking up the time frame of the game, it takes place somewhere in the 1890s. So Big Brother sounds about right, makes him Voldemort's Great Grand Uncle

This was my very first "Harry Potter" game, and I only saw the first movie on my own - watching the next 4 films to prepare for Hogwarts Legacy. This is also one of the few rated Teen games I've played. And I loved it. Got Platinum!

Love my Slytherin playthrough so far, the Ominis and Sebastian by themselves alone make the experience special 😭 Ominis I don't think is Tom Riddle's grandfather but a great uncle I believe. He mentions having older brothers, I'd be surprised if he married and continued on the family name or at least the traditions of house gaunt

You're a true Slytherin. Questioning the quality of Hogwarts education, complaining about chessboards, people, etc. Love the energy. And YEP, Slytherin is Water 1:13:36 It makes sense for me that the Demiguise is the zero as it is such an evasive creature. And no, it's not just for the dramatics. Wands are just better. As of the time of Hogwarts Legacy in 1890, Africa was the only continent that still had not adopted wands. That is not longer true as of the XXI century: now most wizards in Africa use a wand too, as it is just better. Uagadou the only school to still consider wands as optional, though it is trending towards wand-reliance too. Incantations are just didactical, though, and nonverbal casting, taught in Hogwarts by the sixth year, is universally considered ideal.

5:20 that's not a rhyme, it's Alliteration. Kind of the opposite of Rhyming, with the start of the words sounding the same instead of the end. For example: Perry Pippin, Purveyor of Prepared Potions is Alliteration, while Puffskein Dunkein is rhyming.

@Cynthetic his not forgettable you were just not paying attention. slughorn maybe set in his ways but he was genuinely good hearted person. Even though he wanted to stay neutral, his sense of justice made him duel Voldemort with Minerva and Kingsley. And he creates connections with skilled students with bright futures, he is the embodiment of a slytherine - cunning and ambition.

I have seen all the common rooms in the game, they are all really good to be fair. The Slytherin Dungeon doesn't have a place where you can fly onto like Ravenclaw though Playing on Hard like a pro

The common room is fitting. Compared to the other common room entrances Slytherin’s is the only one that is hidden and the aesthetic feels like an underground private club. Call it secrecy or selective inclusion but its a very Slytherin feel.

I experimented with making a couple of very different looking female characters in character creation and you are correct. In cut scenes, everyone's female character looks the same, especially when they smile. A very "clay-face" smile. Very frustrating. That's why I'm looking into Mods now.

unfortunately there is no way to play the villain. The maximum is a daring upstart whose words will be at odds with his actions. you can answer arrogantly but the plot makes you a good hero. I myself play for Slytherin and very often your hero in good nature will give odds to any Gryffindor. perhaps since this is 1 project that tells a different story, and they said there would be a sequel, they started like books with films, at first everything was like in a fairy tale, and with the subsequent project they will do it harder and darker. Or maybe they won't. It even seemed to me that when you KILL your enemies everything is somehow kind ... But this did not stop me from smiling all 32 teeth throughout the game !!! and this is just my opinion! Good luck in passing!
