Respawn punisher is the worst ability in the game hands down. There’s nothing to gain by making it take a measly 2 seconds longer for players to go back to base. And on top of that it makes YOU take longer to go back to base as well. You cant guarantee that youll get a punished splat before getting splatted youself. But one things for sure. Anyone who splats you, regardless of their abilities will punish you ever single time. I wear gear for looks and seeing respawn punisher in a otherwise great looking shirt ruins it for me. I hate it

Same bro. I love the way the kensa coat looks but it having respawn punisher by default is messed up. Same with the pearlescent hoodie. Thank god you can change the main ability of gears in splat 3 with enough chunks. I made my pearlescent hoodie have ninja squid

Hence why you use it on back line weapons so you don’t get splatted nearly as much and with enough skill you can take multiple enemies out for a long enough time to get some work done

respawn punish is high skill ability that benefits high kill:death ratios. It is also to a lesser extent beneficial for long range backline weapons like chargers that can be saef getting kills from afar. You complain about respawn punish's 2 secondsn ot being enough yet say it's punissh on yourself is too much. Respawn punish can be good, you just dont have the right play style for it or maybe not enough skill for it

as an inkbrush main, the build is kinda bad because special charge is unnecessary if you have 180p on both kits (special power is more toxic because funny duration) inkbrush can and will die A LOT and respawn punisher would be useless if you don’t have a tacticooler teammate

especially since inkbrush can’t get kills all the time and tends to trade a lot 😭 not that you can’t run these abilities but I’m just saying they’re not the abilities you want if you wanna be toxic asf (spam bombs and increase your wail duration instead)

Respawn punisher is honestly my least favorite ability. All it does is make everyone play the game less, and it heavily favors snipers and other backline weapons.

In order to get octo shot you need to collect all locker keys from all 8 main weapons and then the locker will transform into 8s pallete

splatoon 3 meta is a bit different when comparing solo and competitive environments. but, in short, it's a combination of trizooka and tacticooler, with the most prominent weapons being splattershot, both squeezers, snipewriter 5h, nzap 85, and most crab tank weapons.
