Here's a few fun things I've found while absolutely catmaxxing this past couple of weeks: When your ult ends, you have about 350ms of time where you can input the cat AS the ult ends, meaning you can insta-cat off of ult without taking a point of damage (which would cancel cat). Holding your melee as you un-cat makes a soundless heavy melee. Very useful for sneak-grabbing buffs, or punching the back of a haze's soft spot on her head. When you're on the ground, your leap is horizontal. When you're not, it's wherever your cursor is. This gives you INSANE air time if you jump, point directly up, leap and then double jump, and THEN pop ult, refreshing all cooldowns and giving you even MORE options in mid-air. Lastly, and the funniest by far. When you ult, you have no gravity. If you go onto a bounce pad of any type, you are thrown into the skybox, and stay there until your ult ends. Do with this obnoxious information what you will.

would this actually be viable as a strat? like is wasting enemies time and delaying minions worth your life and sometimes less souls/min

It's really a math problem. Baus' proxy strategy works specifically in league because of a bunch of league specific factors like early death timers, the EXP value of minions vs champions and how long it takes to get back to lane. In deadlock's case, it would depend on how much value you give to the enemy by dying vs how much they lose by chasing you, and how much value you lose if you die. If you can make it back to the lane before any minions make it back then you essentially lose nothing (even better if you die to a tower so the enemy doesn't even get the souls) assuming you weren't carrying an orb, but has the enemy lost enough by chasing you to make up for what you've given them. There are two real hitches here: If you farm creeps you're essentially giving the enemy extra free souls if they kill you, and the rail system in general makes this... funky in a way that I don't have the experience to predict. Add on to that the 'density' of towers on the main path, it's hard to find a spot where you can safely stand that isn't inside the enemy base. Just don't steal the waves from the other lanes. That'd be rude.
